This set you have a hard time not making a profit with collectors boxes at 400$ and less. Each pack at 33$ you can basically cover that with a single card.

Almost, yeah. Like 40% of the value of a pack also comes from the last slot. Keep in mind it could also be only a few bucks. We‘re also still waiting for the professional sellers to put their singles on the market when the release date hits. I‘m guessing singles might go down like 25% then

Lol. You must not understand cardboard. The fomo drives the prices. You have a bunch of timmies pumping each other. The actual value is closer to pennies on the dollar. When you over print supplies the value has no other option but to tank. Just look qt any set. For example double masters 2022. Textured cards were ridiculous valuable in the beginning. Not they are dirt cheap. Realistically release prices never hold... NEVER. Don't be a sucker

What do you think about grading any of thhe cards from MH3? Outside of serialized ones of course.

Generally I am always torn when it comes to grading any cards outside of list-cards. Usually, Magic cards are playables and graded cards are hard to out in decks. However, I also have a few cards I want to preserve for the next 10+ years, and a cheap grading service like cardmarket or AI Grading might actually be worth it. Which ones are you thinking of? There‘s not many in MH3 with a value I would think about it.

Hi! Really nice video! My fav set is MH2. So Im looking forward to open some MH3. You are pretty right about dope art and value in It. In my local LGS there is waiting for me one coll box for 370€, do you think this price is ok according to CM, or other LGS in EU? Also I pre-ordered ona coll commander Bundle for 450€, also If I can ask, what do you think about this price and what are your general prediction with this specific product? Thank you very much! MH2 was indeed amazing to open, MH3 has a similar feeling although slightly less rewarding. I think 370€ is a great price, and if you get a few fetchlands and one or two good hits, you‘ll make that money back once the singles market stabilizes (I mean you could already sell the sealed box for 400€ 😉). I already sold almost all my singles and kept every card worth more than 30€, and still made more than 320€ back, it‘s pretty good. The collector commander decks are a gamble, it‘s hard to say how prices will develop. The eldrazi and tricky terrain will for sure always be worth some good chunks, as they‘re great precons. I think it's probably Alpha ;) But this is up there. Reminds me of the Ultimate Masters release. Too many good cycles in MH3 keeps everything feeling good. When you have medallions, fetches, flares, not to mention what the other land cycle could do, it holds the bottom line well. And then you have some of the bigger hits to get lucky on. Really does seem to be one of the most "solid" sets ever.
