All of their claims are unverified assumptions too. Why would they know whether Dhruv votes or not? How much time he spends in his home on India? How much tax he pays where? Are they his accountant? It’s entirely possible he pays more tax in India than they do lol. They don’t know anything about his life, it’s all private information. Yet they are very comfortable spreading unverified assumptions to millions of people as if they are facts, trying to discredit him.

Dhruv rathee is a type of centralist who will never criticize opposition on making statements that north Indians are fools, south must be different country, using abusive language keeping 500 crores black money, defaming india in front of foreign countries, telling a religion dengue, kejriwal joining the most corrupt party which he only declared, but he will never appreciate that in the current govt. Rule there are no bomb blasts no terrorists, Kashmir is back with India, if Hindus got there temple then Muslims were also given their own masjid not driven away from them, India being respected in British countries. Indira Gandhi had no control over the media, EC & judiciary so, we got back our democracy. But this time, BJP have a strong control over media, EC & a major part of the judiciary. So, there is less chance to retain our democracy.

Of course, she had control over media. The EC in those times was not what it is now in the post-Seshan era. She tried her best to control the judiciary and succeeded. She promoted her favourite as Chief Justice, overlooking the seniority. This basic structure of constitution doctrine came into being in 1973 Kesavananda Bharati case. So, the Supreme court could have struck down emergency, but it did't. In those days, the government owned the radio. You could listen to BBC over the short wave. But, otherwise, there was no option. Controlling newspapers was a lot easier. You simply don't make newsprint available to them. We got back our democracy because the Intelligence Bureau told her she would win the election if it was called in 1977 and she went on to lose the election.

Stuffing the pockets of land owners is most vile thing. All the farmer protests were done by old parents while kids were still back in Punjab. Reduce subsidies and save money to invest in infrastructure. Govt should not buy any grain that it finds no use for. We have excess production.

About Abhi and Niyu’s tweet: I’d like to point out that all of their claims are unverified assumptions too! In reality, they have no idea how much time Dhruv spends in India, how many months he lives there compared to Europe, whether he votes or not, if he pays tax in India or not (it’s entirely possible he pays more than them). Unless they personally asked him all these questions and he told them all this (why would he, they’re not close!), they can’t know this at all. They have no idea, this isn’t public information. So apart from the fact that they’re trying to discredit him as the messenger, they are very comfortable spreading unverified claims/misinformation they actually have no idea about him to millions of people!

But he has said many times that he doesn’t film himself or vlog when he’s at home in India for privacy reasons. He only films in India when he’s travelling somewhere new, never his home. He doesn’t even film faces of his family. I think keeping his privacy in India is really wise. My relative saw him in Delhi very recently and there was no post or vlog about him being in India. Point is, none of us knows. Abhi and Niyu sure as hell don’t know. Just because we don’t see it, and he keeps his privacy, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. But they’re very comfortable spreading all kind of rumours about him to millions of people who take it as facts, when they can’t know any of these things. And I think that’s irresponsible.

Just because the screw is not fully in, doesn't mean the situation is moving toward full dictatorship or already have traits of dictatorship. Both Shekhar Guptas and Dilip Mandal's argument rest on the argument that the screw is not tightened 100%. The thing is when people elect you with an absolute majority, they expect you to deliver and these things do not matter to people. For me personally, the drastic reduction in terror acts in India after Modi is a good enough reason to reelect him. Rest I can manage for myself. If Congress had done that I would have elected them. I love the secular nature of our Country and believe we should always be secular (I also believe all countries should be secular including Bhutan (Bhuddist), Nepal (Hindu) Saudi Arabia (Islam), Pakistan (Islam), as no country should be run on the basis of religion whether it’s Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Bhuddist etc). Being secular means all are equal and state does not officially recognise any one religion with no special treatment for any religious groups whether minorities or majorities. So in a secular India there should be no personal Law for Hindus, Muslims, Christians or any religion. My support for BJP is mainly due to its emphasis on Development. I travel to India often and whilst BJP was in Gujarat, I saw immense development on the ground unseen in previous years. I also see the same at a national level since BJP is in Power. So unfortunately I do not see an alternative to BJP. If there is another party with the right skills, capabilities, will and determination to develop India at the same rate and is also truly secular, I would potentially support them over BJP.

Now this statement can only be made by someone who himself is unbiased and Dhruv clearly is not. The main problem is with the audience who get influenced too quickly. If you watch LW content you tend to agree with them and then you watch RW content then you will agree to them too. The main game is to watch both sides and not let the video creator do the analysis for you. You create your own verdict based on the facts and not the personal viewpoint of creators. By the way, Dhruv Rathee minus his political vids is the best channel out there

Understand the cause, india never lived under authoritarianism, majority doesn’t know what is it. Education level is also poor in India, it’s still a lower middle income country as per IMF. Asking such people about if they want any strong leader or not, which pew did, they will always answer “YES” without understanding the depth of the question. It’s although my own observation, because any educated mind will choose liberalism any day imo.

The common counters see against dhruv are 1. He lives outside India 2. He is paid by other parties 3. Why modiji wasn't able to stop chandigarh mayor drama. First two are targeting the messenger and trying to take his credibility. Also diverting from his message. The third one is dumb beacuse dhruv told about the patterns that we are lenaign towards dictatorship and not that India is already one. Dhruv never said this and so it is countering something that Dhruv never said.

Fantastic video. Just a small advice. Also make the Hindi version or infact multi lingual version of this video available. Ironically, most of the bhakts don't even understand English so you can reach them only if you translate this into Hindi. Also , translating to other regional languages will widen it's reach. You can use AI for the same. It's a 10 minutes job. Again kudos to such a clear and powerful video. Respect !
