Yes! I have endless space taken up by like 6 WTC building (I have 32 tables worth). All of this fits in 1 small box.. 😮

I think the biggest problems are: 1) a lot of extra needed painting (read: wasted paint) between each pieces joins to prevent the unpainted parts from being visible 2) Potential of paint being worn off or chipped off with continued use especially where the pieces meet 3) Most people don't need this level of modularity unless you're doing a skirmish game with lots of custom scenarios

You know your game system is borked when there is competitive terrain 😂 Cool terrain. Would get if I was playing anything besides Shatterpoint. And I don’t do kickstarters anymore. The prepainted looks really good.

Glad I could help! If modular is what you're after, I'd say it's good. My previous experiences havent been great, so glad to find something actually modular. With the extra floors and roof sections, you should be sorted!

@ video was exactly what I needed to make up my mind, the pre painted set looks awesome and as I have limited space too store my WH40K stuff I can easily pack this away into a box and store when not needed. Cheers!

I’d like to see this in a futuristic gothic style - just like the buildings from WH40k second edition in the 90s. I could then paint them in the light bluish/grey from that era and have loads of terrain for 2nd edition battles!

Back in my day, we made do with what we had, stacking hardback books to create our terrain and cover. These young war gamers today don’t know how good they have it!

I actually pulled them apart today in store, and they're fine. A tiny bit stiffer, but so far, no problems!

What is the set up time to go from box storage to a standard terrain set up for a GW 44x60 competition mission?

If you know what you're building, and have had a bit of practice, it wouldn't be too bad. Something like a mid WTC table (4 big & 6 Small) might take you 30 mins-ish? Odds are you'd have a few bits still together, so might speed it up a little.

It is generally a nice idea and you painted it very well - but this particular design does not appeal to me. Ofc I understand that this is intended to fit into any universe/setting, it just does not scratch an itch :)

yeah but it looks crap tho, it looks super generic and almost featureless when its all stacked together, like there really isn't much you could do with it without any distinguishing architectural features. The modular bit is great, not disputing that, but its visually really unappealing, sorry.
