Study Islam, Hadith, Sira, History of Islam, Autobiography of Muhammad by ibn Ishaq( all islamic sources) compare it to Quran and you will be shocked at what you find. I recommend David Wood and Sam Shamoun. They will give you the truth about Mohammed and Islam and prove their statements by giving proof from Quran and Hadith( Islamic sources). Then Decide, but what you will find is that the Bible stands strong with Historical evidence, Archaeological evidence, manuscript evidence and fulfilled prophecy that proves it is the Word of God. Look at the evidence and compare it with what the Islamic evidence says. God bless, if you search for God with all your heart you will find Him.

A sincere question for the people who follow the teachings of Muhammed. How can Muhammed be a continuation of the prophets of what we may call the holy bible? Dr. Shabir Ally said that the prophets were Hebrews that is correct. However that is not the only condition what made them prophets they were all descendents of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And all the books were written by people who descend from this bloodline. (Moses first writer) Even if it is true if Muhammed descended from Ishmael the picture of him being a prophet of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is incorrect because he is not from that bloodline. Yes he is hebrew as Doctor Shabir Ally said because he supposedly descend from Eber. The forefather of Abraham. Moreover why is Muhammed the first prophet who contradicts the other prophets?

I guess I am a Prophet but a Prophet described in Deuteronomy is to rule over the Israelite's and this is where things gets confusing for Joshua was not a Prophet he was more like a King? And God said Kings would come from the tribe of Judah and Prophets would come from the tribe of Levite? So was Muhammad from the tribe of Levite, was Jesus?

As a non Muslim (at the moment) I just want to know and understand. And that is what scholars are here to help us with. The rest is our personal faith and conviction. He died because of a fever. Also, the pain kf artery being cut off is an expression of pain, not a prophecy by itself. He said aisha that at he was suffering a tremendous pain because of the sickness, but that was not his only state of sickness, at times he could even speak clearly and make fsome final arragments and designations.

Understanding that Mohammed (pbuh) was a prophet and so were individuals such as Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) begs a question. How does Islam regard people identified as "prophets" by other Faiths? Judaism has a long tradition of it's own prophets and even in America the Mormon tradition identifies its originators as prophets. How might we Muslims regard these figures?

@Bruce Sims. As far as I know in Islam we believe Muhammad pbuh is the last prophet and everything about what we believe is sourced from Quran and Sunnah. Quran only say that Allah send prophet to every community without mentioning names. So the criterion is whether his teaching is the same as in Islam i.e tauhid

It says, in the noble quran in 3:144 "Muḥammad is no more than a messenger; other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed, would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever. And Allah will reward those who are grateful." And I. Surah al-Qamar it says 54:1 it says "The Hour has drawn near and the moon was split ˹in two˺.1" when the disbelievers came to prophet Muhammad (SAW) they (disbelievers) said split the moon in half, and when Muhammad (SAW) did by Allah's permission (and it was actually Allah who did it), they did not believe. I don't understand why dr.shabir doesn't send salah (Devine blessing) upon the prophet (saws) when he mentions his name as allah Cleary says "Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace." Therefore it's an obligation to say "blessings and peace of Allah be upon him" not only peace as in this noble aya you can clearly see salah upon him or blessing comes first. اللهم صل على محمد و على آل محمد

And by the way It is not a must, especially if you already says it once or twice. we are urged to do it, but if the topic is the prophet himself, it would be redundant to repeat it every 10 second he says Mohammad. but he did that some of the time.. Notice they try to present it to both muslims other non muslims, even the presenter, by the way his daughter, said if "Mohammad" etc tc..as a neutral stance .. Calling to the path of God is greater than criticism for minor detail. He, as a caller to God path, is doing what prophet job do, of course in minor scale,, that is why God in Islam give it the highest reward, because it is tough, long ,arduous. In the blessed QURAN it was revealed that the TRUE JESUS was NOT crucified and while it has taken 2,000 yearsto learn this, how did The Prophet (pbuh) "know" this 1400 YEARS AGO? Virtually all scholars say Jesus was crucified even bart erhman and other secular atheists ! Believing that Jesus was taken above and his followers were deceived is really a obscure position . Jesus did many miracles virgin birth , raising people from dead etc but according to Islam he was an utter failure ! His followers were not able to conserve his true message etc where as Muhammad did less miracles but by Islamic standards he was successful in his jihad . Where as Jesus was a failed jihadi . "Jesus Christ" is a MYTHOLOGICAL figure and yes, his Myth says he was crucified. That story was lifted from a MUCH earlier source. Erhman makes the same mistake by not questioning if the crucifixion story itself was accurate.
