Yeah no, in islam there are things that were left ambiguous by our lord, such as music. I follow an ijtihad that I find strongest that relies on ahadeeth solely and gives proof of the ahadeeth of the opposite ruling being misinterpreted or tampered with. I will not stop listening to music until someone tells me the *reason* for it to be forbidden, i do not care about the proves because Allah's words are metaphors most of the time which means it can have many different meanings. I know there must be a catch in this, because music back then were DEFINITLY more different than the music now, and since it mostly talks about instruments i have a theory that instruments back then were really harmful thats why it was forbidden. Association does not mean that they themselves were condemned. I can understand deriving the ruling that music with sex, alcohol, drugs is haram but music in itself? not so much. Also, the wearing of silk is permissible for women :) Islam is a religion that has rulings that are in the middle and not extreme. For example we can't gamble but we can still play games and have fun. In fact I'd argue that singing is 100 times worse than just instruments, but it is what it is.

Either way, anime and movies are a total waste of time regardless, so you should slowly phase them out of your life (if you are in that life), and maybe limit them to maybe an episode every other day or a movie a month. Quitting youtube seems impossible tho😭, still try to watch only usefull stuff and not waste time, if that's the best we can do :') Hope this helps!

@@pawnita-g5p yes, in indonesia here, music is part of our culture and the wali songo ( they were like the first imams ) spreads islam through peace, they spread it by mixing the local cultures and islamic teachings, for example the gamelan ( a musical instrument ) and the local ceremonies. And even the government supports music now so i think that the most logical take would be the modern scholar's opinion.

Assalamualaikum! One thing I noticed was that after quitting music, my mind became much less polluted and more clear, whereas previously, the dopamine from listening to music all the time kinda numbed me a bit and didn't really let me properly think. If ur interested, you should watch Andrew Huber mans podcast on dopamine (its on youtube!) Or applaud those soldiers hitting their Spears on the floor. And how some would try to take drums away from the category of instruments. When it literally is an instrument. Logically a. Prophet cannot applaud for something that is forbidden The first verse u presented can be interpreted in many ways. But every Good action can still be the action of Satan regardless. As for 31:6. It focuses on the intentional manipulators that will take away those from the path of Allah intentionally. While those who don't have these intentions are not involved from this punishment.
