I just got a kit and so far it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever had. I haven’t been “scared” of a car since I was a teenager and my buddy had a Camaro that no one our age should have had. This thing is WILD! I’m happy to see it’s ok to drive it in the rain too because I was worried about that big time since my car is my daily. It has filters and rain socks so I’m guessing I’m good to go on wet days.

Really glad you got this kit, as for now it represents a true daily driver on 93...but raced a lot.....which is precisely the content that would normally be missing for any Gen 3 build and especially with twins ( the people going twins aren't buying 100k mile service interval Eaton OEM 2650tvs, or 3100TVS, rotor packs for long term 93 daily use; they are usually ET oriented builds). This provides perfect context and information for how the kit performs for the average blue collar guy as a Daily and provides proof of concept not only in terms of the ability to drive in the rain but also the oil less turbo design....imho perfect content for this kits temperament for true street strip duty.... I also appreciate that you will wait to put the 4 n 1 headers on before changing K member....super good content for the average blue collar guy not chasing 8s...once you got race everything and racing fuel ( let's be honest just cause e85 is at the pump some placing its still a racing fuel it would be better due to cooling effect than if local stations just started carrying MS109 at the pump...it IS a racing fuel just available at the pump in some areas)..... I appreciate everything about this channel as I think it reflects what a VAST majority of owners would do with the car..I also wonder if after 30 passes, dyno and countless smashes and passes even prior to the turbos, if the fact how they come in on the hit ( vs my big block style insta-torque) is why you have had zero problems out of your trans...literally none....even Zander13 has problems before he went boosted.... Makes me think with this system maxing out 93, is deep 10s and stock trans probably lives a long time....small stall even faster... Good advice on OPG/S , im glad I did them on my last core, my engine has hit the limiter at 8100 3 or 4 times since then and they probably paid for themselves already ( especially with engine out).... The price for Ford to Remove and Replace with new long block ( with a supercharger), was $10,005 all in....twice lol....plus diminished value from carfax....people can have OPG/CS put in off book

Thanks man!! I’m enjoying driving the car all the time. I agree this is showing how everything holds up to what most want to do with their S550’s. Have a quick daily that they can take to the track turn it up and have fun. Then turn it down and go anywhere on the street. Or leave it turned up if they like to party lol.

@@SpeedAddict731 its so perfect for the average guy it really is... And we all know when you flip that switch and get serious, hey we are going on that ride with you to, but until then many of us are immensely grateful that you are doing this build in thoughtful deliberate stages like MOST people would.... We all know 500hp feels good for a while then 600 then 700 then you stick tjat and its 800 and all the problems that come with it....however most couldn't go 0 to insane instantly...honestly in these cars I don't even recommend it...its harder to drive than my 1200hp 53 year old car out of sorts....this is a nice normal progression that imho most people would have to follow and SHOULD follow... I've seen a lot of wrecks with peopling jumping from v6 to 800hp boosted V8 in modern cars...YOU don't need it but many that find this will need a more natural 600,700,800-1200 progression with all the parts that kinda need to progress with it and seat time...... I just really appreciate the content cause your car is exactly how id use mine if I get or had bought that kit.....I might would put a steeper than normal gear in it, thats about it....so nice to be able to adjust it.... We know you are honest you will show us problems, speak of them, show us the track and tuning and upgrades....for a street guy until you flip that kill mode switch just absolutely perfect REAL WORLD content.... I really hope to stay together long enough to get down there and do one of the events with you guys if I ever get going again hehe...dropped snap rings and filter off yesterday

Glad you added the comment about not driving it daily up north in two or three feet of snow. Only reason I haven’t picked this kit up, gonna keep my turbo up top and protected because I drive my car year round and that entails plenty of the white stuff lol Which big single kit would you suggest Ken? Or fab one up ala David Van Voris?

@SpeedAddict7314 жыл бұрын
2nd on whipple. On 93 I’m getting 27-28 on interstate and about 19-22 in town depending. Sometimes better but I can’t keep from listening to turbo noises here and there lol.
@newfinishautospa4 жыл бұрын
@@SpeedAddict731 yeah I’ve seen that a top mount blower is a lot more reliable and easier to tune, but it’s not really possible to get decent mileage with the way a whipple puts the car under boost as soon as you touch the throttle.
