I did a 2019 f150 and the crank key positions positions and cam timing marks were a different orientation. Why would ford make the mustang time differently from the f150?

@@SpeedAddict731 seems like the converter is too tight. Do you know what ur shift recovery or rpm drop is between gears? I think ideal is 1000 rpm or less

@@hugoraven23 it’s not too tight. It’s set up for big power centrifugal. Also it has electronic lock up so it’s doing as it should going down the track. It doesn’t drop rpm hardly at all on shifts. Usually around 1000 rpm.

Yep, in good air this is a low 9 sec combo. In all actuality if I put 3” catback on the car, changed out a few things it would do it in the heat that this run was made in probably. All I needed to see was a 9.5 that we ran here in the summer to figure out what I need to hit my goal in the fall when everyone is running their Hail Mary passes.

Yes Sir !! it's doing it's thing and who says stock suspension doesn't work. Daryl is a tuning master he has that thing hauling the mail and for it to be a full factory weigh car can't really ask for any better cooler temps hopefully will get you right at the 5.99 mark keep up the great work.

Might want to have DW look at the logs. Its skipping 2nd. Thats not planned, or it shouldnt be.

It’s not skipping second. Watch it closely. It runs up shifts into second early because of the converter. Then runs the rest of the rpm out in second once it locks up. Then shifts to 3rd. Daryle has been at the track with me and we have looked at the logs.

Shift points was affected with me as well. Made a big difference as you can see in the video between the two. All around more aggressive.
