I do not recommend Vevor products. I do not recommend ATEX designated equipment. ATEX is a European Commission designation. ATEX does not comply with OSHA/ANSI Standards. Ensure your equipment is UL/Underwriter Laboratory Standards. These are USA Standards and will protect you in case of an Incident. Atmospheres Explosive. “ATEX” is an abbreviation for the ATEX Directive and is short for “Atmospheres Explosive”. It is a set of European Union regulations that are designed to ensure the safety of products being used in explosive environments. Is ATEX accepted in the USA? ATEX is a uniquely European Union directive for protection against explosive atmospheres. No. It's not harmonized with NFPA / National Fire Protection Association. Combustible dust standards and not considered by OSHA an acceptable certification for electrical equipment used in hazardous locations. Protect your Workers and Protect your Company from Liability. Ensure it is UL and ANSI Compliant. At my jobsite we use Portable Extraction Fans for confined spaces. Vevor is not allowed on our Property.

I agree, you are correct that that these fans are not UL / OSHA acceptable for use in a business application or job site. I noted that in a previous video, but may not have made that clear. I purchased this for personal use rather than business. The European specs may not exactly line up with US spec, but after reading the specifics of their ratings, I judged that for my use, the ATEX certification seemed acceptable. Anyone using this fan should verify that it meets their needs. The European countries want safe products in their countries as much as we do in the US. But, once again, it is not acceptable to use these fans in a business subject to OSHA regulation and I would prefer to have one with UL listing.
