National has addressed none of the below, forced many people and families into unemployment by creating a recession, and have driven the poorer in NZ further into abject poverty. National is totally out of touch with the average NZer and the needs of NZ. 100,000 households in energy poverty (+$15 per month if Transpower increases go through) 5.7m foodbank users per year Some of the highest rent/income ratios in the OCED Massive 10%+ rates increases (also passed into rents) Prescription charges bought back. Massive waiting lists to see some GPs & the list goes on.

You should swap the word national for labour! Everything you have stated was well on the way before national got into power. Who was it that locked the country down? Who printed 70 billion dollars out of thin air? Who dropped interest rates to an all time low? Who employed 1400 new government servants for no reason? Most people lost their jobs and business under labour. National is just trimming the branches due to labours ridiculous over reach in spending, grants and handouts.

@@shaunwortel2556 a) NZ had one of the lowest death rates per capita during Covid-19. The spend was worth it. b) the independent RBNZ dropped the interest rates not the govt. c) bureaucrats per capita in NZ is in line with the OECD average.

​@@shaunwortel2556Guess what mate if the country wasn't locked down we would've been a lot worse off (gargatuan death rates, hospitals being overrun to an unsustainable level, etc.); if the country never printed the money out of thin air we would've been worser off (deflation which is much harder to manage than inflation).
