U can choose what suits u better like cbse for india's most public exams and icse is better for someone aspiring to go abroad as it helps in exams like Sat/Act or TOEFL and cbse is better for science students who will appear for jee/neet but icse is better for those who choose humanities as subjects like literature are taught in depth there and of course state boards are for those who can neither afford icse nor cbse and have to study from government schools

The reason behind is that you have already studied other books many times during previous attempts and after reading NCERT you get the perfection. Maine pyq kiye hai mains ke.... btw lm neet aspirant,....and l can tell jee mains physics and chemistry are much much easier than neet.... l don't know why Nta gives so much time in jee per question compared to neet even though level of questions are same and also easier most time. yes jee advanced sucks.... but you have to agree mains is much easier than neet in terms of both level and time given .
