This was very interesting to watch as a native English speaker. We often don't know the terminology because we just know how to speak the language instinctively. I must add that some of the questions had more than one acceptable answer. The options for question 9 in the intermediate section were all acceptable. While one answer was more grammatically correct, all three options would be considered fine in conversation.

I’m an Italian 11 year old, turning 12 in 2 weeks. I found this test very useful. I’m a non-native English speaker and sadly, they don’t teach us much at school, if I didn’t learn English from myself, nowadays I would have been less than beginner level, but I got lower advanced and I’m very happy about it! I started learning English by myself when I was 9 or 10 by videogames and KZbin videos and now I speak the language very fluently! Native English speaker here, if you say one of the ‘incorrect’ sentences you will be understood. Don’t worry about being perfect in spoken conversations, we will understand what you are trying to say even if it’s not perfect. I speak TERRIBLE Spanish but I still get along just fine in Spanish speaking countries because the people I’m speaking to can puzzle it out.

anyone learning english (and i am native, by the way) : Dont worry too much about the theory. Main thing is to read english, speak with an english speaking friend etc. Theory is moreso important in other languages like Arabic, Spanish, etc. of course, learn theory but dont stress about it. Practice is much more important

100% agree. As a B2/C1 english speaker, I wasn't even aware of the collocation, modal verbs, present simple, present perfect, etc. I just knew most of the answers by pure instinct. These grammatical theories makes english look much more difficult than it really is.

I got 9/10 in the beginner level. In the last question, I confused the word 'age' instead of 'ago' you have to write in that sentence. And the Intermediate level I got 7/10 which means I'm still Intermediate level. Anyway thank you so much Sir for this test. This is absolutely excellent and brilliant test. God blessed you Sir!🙏🙏🙏🙏

You are an excellent teacher because you are able to explain an answer very clearly using the minimum number of words. This is very important for language learners as the answers should never be more complicated than the questions. Question No. 7 in the beginner's level should be replaced with something simpler considering such learners may not have been exposed to the use of the word "party" as a verb (e.g., "There was a party here last Friday." "I went to a party last Friday." "There will be a party next Friday." etc.). My scores were 9/10; 10/10; 9/10.

Kewl ! I really enjoyed your video. Got 10/10 of A, 7/10 of B and 4/5 of C1 and only 2/5 of C2 , but - imho - a foreign language speaker must have at least level B in order to even start understanding the meaning of the sentences and explanations. You aim really high.
