it’s affiliate marketing. doesn’t matter what shape the comp plan is in the back office. those who share the most get paid the most. I’d rather share an opportunity and win and have success then grind a 9-5 that pays you only 2 days a month. most jobs aren’t scalable and stuff like this gives people options ❤

I would never work for the government and especially police even if someone knocks on my door and offers me a job at much higher rate. My moral values are much higher than any amout of money in the world. P.S Russia in the 90s and early 2000s showed what most police officers really are and what they are capable of by having power over regular citizen while being payed f*ck all, basically minimum wage and less. The difference between someone who is an employee of a company. He receives a salary that enables him to plan as much as possible and does not bear the entrepreneurial risk. In network marketing, on the other hand, people are self-employed, have to pay taxes and take all the risk, and constantly attend events that cost money to get to the top. A culture of positive thinking emerges and everything negative is forced upon the individual. It's your own fault if something goes wrong etc. Not everyone is a magnet for people and good at selling. It's about selling people an illusion and a lifestyle. However, all of this costs money, even if you fake it, in order to ultimately achieve it. Networking means 24/7 stress, whether you're up or down, it's a cult and everyone is trapped in this system of positivity, dependencies arise because you mistake it for friendship.

As an affiliate marketer, I want to highlight the benefits of this business model while acknowledging the challenges some may face. Being an affiliate allows for flexible income potential through sharing valuable products/services. It's a great fit for individuals seeking independence and an entrepreneurial spirit. Like any venture, it requires dedication and effort. While some might thrive, others may find it challenging. Finding the right niche and strategy is key to success. Honesty and transparency are crucial when promoting opportunities, ensuring everyone makes informed decisions. You are right to bring up the statistics from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and income disclosures from MLM companies. It's essential to rely on reliable data when evaluating any business opportunity, including MLMs. Indeed, the low success rate in MLMs is a valid concern. The structure and compensation plans of many MLMs can make it challenging for a significant percentage of participants to achieve substantial financial gains. As you've pointed out, many people in MLMs struggle to make a profit, and some may even end up losing money. It's crucial for individuals to thoroughly research and consider all available data before getting involved in any business venture, including MLMs. Understanding the risks and potential rewards is essential to make informed decisions that align with one's financial goals and values. In the end, individuals should always exercise caution and skepticism when presented with any business opportunity that promises quick and easy riches. Successful endeavors often require hard work, dedication, and a realistic understanding of the industry's dynamics and challenges.

It’s a good point, the majority of money the money in any sector or vocation usually flows to those at the top “high performance” individuals . Price's law says that 50% of the work is done by the square root of the total number of people who participate in the work. And , that is prominently evident when you look at the NBA, NFL, chefs, designers, engineers, period. Even though his point has valid merit and validity , it leaves out the fact the remainder of those participating in the work still would prefer to be compensated for their contributions to out put even if disproportionate to the individuals I spoke of above. When you look at many MLM’s, the ones who are out of the small square root , starve , go bankrupt , over leverage themselves on unknown products with very little market demand. Not to mention the demographics they target , how your actually compensated, I’m not saying they’re all bs. But, if your participating understand the entirety of how you need to perform , skills needed, social media presence required and everything in between, don’t jump in shit you’re not willing to immerse yourself in .

Why? Its an illogical and easily refuted argument. He's won the argument against himself, but not against actual facts. Facts like most people engaged with network marketing LOSE money. No one at McD's is losing money after they worked their shift. Nobody out here is contesting that CEOs make billions more dollar than their minimum wage workers, but the catch is that the minimum wage workers are still making money. Good luck using this on a real person tho.

That's something that is definitely not promoted in my country so your point is rubbish in my eyes. 3. On top of that, your comment makes no sense in response to my original comment. Even if I'd agree with your argument, which I don't, that still wouldn't justify one industry behaving more immoral than the others. @PatrickAung93
@PatrickAung93 14 күн бұрын
@@DuBzarzy Shaw in his eloquent verbiage was suggesting that teachers are those that do not know or have not learnt their discipline. They are the embodiment of the failed artist that we would read about in Dickensian novels who would precariously balance above the breadline through the only apparent outlet available to them, teaching, as they had failed in their field. Shaw not only makes the assumption that those with knowledge in a discipline would want to do that discipline as a primary career but also makes the further assumption that teaching is not a discipline in itself and is somehow deficient in its requirement for active engagement, the ‘doing’. That is why twenty-first century teaching is different. We now better understand how children learn and the importance of subject knowledge alongside pedagogy and practice. As a profession, we are investing in the ‘can’ of teaching and learning through professional learning networks, research and interrogation of what really works. So, in today’s age, not only would I question Shaw’s assertion that teaching is not in itself a discipline but also the fundamental misconception, in Shaw’s view, that you can teach without knowledge. I see teaching as the ‘can’ and more; can+ is how I would like to view it. It requires significant knowledge, expertise and pedagogical understanding. Every time I now hear Shaw being quoted, I will rephrase to ‘Those that can do and those that can, and can do more (can+), teach’! Also... Trying to discredit my argument is as good as false equivalent fallacy. You are flying too close to the sun and close to roasting all teachers world wide. Not just in MLM. But thanks for giving me new things to learn. Although it is totally irrelevant to what we are initially debating about
