The dude had no knee this time last year. The fact he was able to make it back at all is nothing short of remarkable.

He ran almost as fast as Jeudy chasing the Broncos DB on the last interception. I think he’ll be fine. Blocking sucks.

Exactly! That's the problem the damn run blocking sucks
@HomeDefender308 күн бұрын
His top end is there but his burst isn’t.. it’s not the blocking, he just doesn’t have the acceleration back yet. He will be better next year. This injury takes time.

Chubb isn’t the problem! Is he fully back to his standard, probably not, but the OL run blocking is atrocious! Chubb still has elite vision! He will get stronger and more explosive as he is still healing. But, even at his best, you have to give him something to work with from the OL, last nights run blocking opened nothing. Just look at Derrick Henry last year on a team with a washed OL. Everytime he touched the ball against the Browns a Browns player was in his face. He wasn’t washed, just bad OL. This year proves it! Just look at what the Chiefs are doing with Kareem! Kareem wasn’t finished and neither is Chubb!

Look man I broke my foot two years ago “lisfranc injury” which was nothing like what happened to Nick. Doctors told me I could go back to work after 6 months being out. 5 months no pressure on my foot 1 month with pressure. I’m not lying when I say it took every bit of 6 to 8 months after I returned to work for my foot to not hurt like hell. Give him time!! Although I don’t think he will ever be the same his age is playing a factor as well as this injury!! It is what it is I’m thankful to have been apart of witnessing his raw power in the run game and dominating the NFL on the team I love!!!

Yeah you don't give up on a calibur player like Chubb, not that quick. Look at Derek Henry. He's ballin out right now.

@ I think so to he needs time to fully heal they should have gave him extremely limited play time this season or even just sat him we knew this season wasn’t going to about to anything before he came back

No matter who you put back there it's not going to change until they fix the run blocking!

Stop taking runs out of the equation. Do you take bomb passes out? No, you don't. Never bet against Chubb. Highest level of play will come at least a full year and a half after such a serious knee injury. Look for '25 for Chubb to shine.
@tbone87378 күн бұрын
Not fair to judge his performance this season. He deserves a full offseason to try and get closer to his former self.
@pyrogundam1178 күн бұрын
Might just be a mental thing and just need to get more runs in to get back to what was, but it looked like on Monday was Stephanski just shutting him down and just saving him for next year. Also the loss of Callahan is big since no matter who was in, that line looked elite every game.
@thingshappen40628 күн бұрын
Ford was able to find gaps. 24 should've sat this full year out. In '25 use him more in the chip and screen game.

Exactly. Otherwise, I bet another team could resurrect Chubb. Like say, KC.

He isn’t the same back… yet… not sure if he ever will be the same.. but it’s typically 2 years to get back to form from these types of injuries. It’s not fair to judge him this season. Next season will be a much better look at what he is going to be the rest of his career.

Bring Nick Back. Draft Jeanty. Solidify your Running core & bring back balance to the offense. A strong Run game opens up the passing game.

Bro this is crazy talk. No rb, besides Peterson who was taking all the TRT in the world, comes back the same the next year. It’s always the year after when they are fully back. Literally everyone knows this, besides the people on this show apparently

I honestly believe that the browns are protecting Chubb. If the o line is bad. Why would they let chubb get injured again so quick. They know it's a lost season. They're letting him get back into the flow. He only started after what was it week 9, and people expect AD?? No!! The season is lost and the browns are good at 1 thing protecting players. Look at jok, they're mum about that too.

It' would be nice to get back to the days when we had truly experienced sports analysis. Chubb had 2 major knee surgeries last year, just got back, and is not even in football shape and getting used to making cuts taking hits, etc. Bull is full of his name, sorry to say, he playing himself back into shape. You guys don't have even common sense, but then we live in the world of having to come up with topics 24/7 and that results in 24/7 BS to make up a show. Watson sucks, but if you only played a handful of games in 4 years I think you suck also, only fact is they paid too much for him, could he come back well he is young enough, you guys wanted Flacko what is he doing? he is benched. Winston is 10 years younger and we need to sign him as a bridge to a good draft pick QB, in fact, have Watson as a backup to get the pressure off of him and see if in time he gets his feet back under him, they are stuck with him at the moment so they need to do what they can to see if he has something left, if not eat the contract over many years. Lessoned learned. Winston threw 58 times and he threw bombs, no doubt by the game's end his arm was tired a bit and if you throw that much with NO running game the D is playing pass and for Winston to put up those numbers is remarkable. We lost but it was a fun game to watch, and only shows what could have been our coach is doing the best he can under these circumstances, The Browns are still playing hard and if the D did not give up 27 points also gave ourselves a chance to still win. D been iffy since the 2nd half of last year and in the playoff game it really showed, that you need the talent to coach, this defense is becoming old and showing it. No line cannot run, football is a team sport of many many parts to make it work.

Nick Chubb is the best thing that ever happened to this team! Give him every chance to keep getting better, he deserves it! You think anyone else would put the work in that he has to get back? Doubt it. He’s work ethic is second to none. #24strong🧡🤎
