Best PnR combo since Stockton/Malone and I'd say even there I could make a case this one's better. Both jokic and Jamal can play both sides of the PNR as well as the other and that allows for a myriad of possibilities. Jamal loves setting picks since his highschool center days. Their games complement each other just like their personalities even though they're not the same player or person. It's a bit like the whole team. They all fit together because at the base of it they are a led by an egoless star who is willing to "not get his" if it means winning a game. Jamal's cockiness, passion, agression is allowed to shine through as well as play Jokic Ball. Same with other starters, you can do your speciality if the occasion as long as you do movements, cuts, picks, etc. Jokic (or DJ) will find you. Draymond and Klay would have been very good players if drafted elsewhere but not to the level that their 3 man partnership in Kerr's system allowed them to flourish. Same with Jamal. He could easily had had Mitchell's career and been an all-star in Leastern conference but with Jokic he gets to be Pippen, McHale, Shaq/Kobe. To shine at at even higher level for a higher prize. He's not Robin really because when it comes to crunch time he has had the opportunity and has shined thru.

What's the surprise? Even the NBA's top player needs adequate support. Jokic is such an asset that the nuggets could crush the league for years. But I think the real killer would be for Jokic to reduce his salary voluntarily to bring in more top support - coming in for less than their market price for the privilege to play with Jokic. The money could made back with interest with endorsement contracts and commercials for the then perennial champions.

Reggie with time could fit with Jokic like Murray, kcp is getting better. Gary and Monte had the same relationship, Monte just isn't the finisher that Jamal is and Gary just couldn't stay healthy. Imagine if 2017 Gary were still on this team...

Jamal is a bit of unicorn in that he is a rare point guard who can shoot and doesn’t need to dominate the ball. Don’t say too much about it though bc Jamal has only been back for a game.

What people forget is that Murray- Jokic chemistry was built up over the years since they were entering the play of the bench together in their early seasons.

If Murray can find a way to be more efficient and more consistent he and the Nuggets would benefit greatly. I dont expect playoff Murray during the regular season but the peaks and valley's are hard to navigate as well as his efficiency. These are probably the 2 biggest factors in why he has yet to become an all star. A reliable 22 on 50/40/90 spilts would be perfect. Its the 35 on efficiency one night then 2 games of 19 on 30% shooting that hurts. Look at his regular season game logs for the last 6 years. Dude is money in the playoffs and a roll of the dice the rest of the time.

Murray tips the balance back into the Starters' favor as the bench tries to sell the game No offense but you guys are ignoring that Jokic is always plus on the court, but the bench is a massive negative. Thry lost us at least 4 of those 5 games, if not all 5.
