Pikmin .VR Should be one of the Nintendo Land 2 Games. Basically, you send A Red, Yellow, Blue, White, Or Purple Pikmin down a lane. This costs “Nutrients” that gain passively. Your opponent will have Male Shergrubs, Dwarf Bulborb, Spotty Bulborb, and Volatile Dweevel. They too send enemies down their lane. Your goal is to destroy the opponent’s Nest. That could be the Onion, or a cave.

I made this comment in another video but I think this is pretty relevant. I really would love a new Nintendo Land or Streetpass system for the Switch successor. It really irks me how the Switch lacked any worthwhile connectivity with other Switches or motivation to take your Switch with you. The Nintendo Land sequel meanwhile is just me being self indulgent, I loved the Pikmin Diablo-like and the DK rage bait game. Those especially made me really want to see other series represented! Like splatoon, where it’s a shoot the targets game but with a twist of splatoon’s main gimmick of painting the stage as well, have power up boxes to make the gameplay more chaotic! Or arms/punch out, have it where you do beyblade styled matches where you control the board with motion control and the shoulder buttons for your attacks. Hell, go weird! Do one based on Wii sports but it’s like a sports based mini rpg where you fight hordes of enemies in different sports, the final boss being the king of sports, Matt, being corrupted by the prospect of being the best. I loved the twists that Nintendo Land gave to its back catalogue of games, and I want to see more! But alas, I doubt it’ll ever happen, fun to speculate though!

maybe it will just be a pikmin spinoff and solely a pikmin game because nintendo is trying to push pikmin into their list of bigger ips. so they are making a pikmin spinoff for release of the switch 2 with a unique style

Actually if the “C Button” is what I’ve seen theorized as, being a way to remotely connect the switch to the tv, then that would let the switch function like a Wii U Gamepad meaning Nintendoland wouldn’t even need to be reworked too much as it’d have the ability to play like the first one. Then of course have the same sets of 1v-whatever, 4 player, and solo games where the first has the 1 on the “switch-pad” while the others are on the tv, 4 player is all on tv, and solo could just be handheld mode (or visible up on the tv while you play if connected, like the Donkey Kong roller game from the first)

If they do, I hope it’s called Nintendo Land! 1-2 Switch. It wouldn’t be a collection of Nintendo Land and 1-2 Switch, it would be a collection of Nintendo Land 1 and Nintendo Land 2, which you would be able to switch between on the title screen, hence the title. Sure, I could’ve just said it would be a remake of Nintendo Land with new content, but that wouldn’t be confusing enough.

Imo, nintendo land is quiet unique cuz its gameplay was really based on the wiiU's concept So a port would definitely be impossible and a squel would be kinda weird 🤔

Have you considered using the phone from the Nintendo app to be used as a WiiU gameplay. This way the asynchronous gameplay could still stay intact and even more game options could be opened with this.
