Is Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Worth the Price in 2024?

Luigis mansion, pikmin 2 and Chibi-Robo had to be my favorite gamecube games for sure. I used to rotate between those a lot. There was so many other iconic ones too but I would love those on the online service.

Kirby Air Ride!!! The amount of play time me and my bros put into that game was insane. After getting older I tried for years (unsuccessfully) to find a way to play it!!!!

The GOAT was Eternal darkness Sanity’s Requiem. The first time it reset and went to the Home Screen. I was screening at my TV thinking I had to repeat a section. Then the creepy laugh came and I was back. After I recovered from my fit and then confusion, I realized that I was truly playing something special.

There are a ton of awesome GameCube games. I’ll choose Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. After seeing the Space World demo, that was a certainly a launch title to buy and the first mission attacking the Death Star made me feel like a kid again. Priceless.

If you only want to play online and have cloud saves but don’t care about the classic games then no the Expansion Pack isn’t worth it just get the base tier. However if you like the N64 GBA and Sega Genesis games and you don’t plan on buying the MK8DX Splatoon 2 DLC or Animal Crossing DLC then yes it’s worth the upgrade.

My favorite, game cube game is Super Mario Sunshine. I know, not a lot of people will agree but, I have a nostalgic feeling for this game because this is the first game I played on Game Cube.

Tough call. I’d have to go with Mario Kart Double Dash. I hope the next Mario Kart on the Switch 2 has the 2-player driver/use weapon aspect. I also enjoyed F-Zero GX and Metroid Prime.

I'm in the UK, got it recently, and I think it's quite a reasonable deal tbh. NSO + Expansion Pack is about £35 for 12 months which is the equivalent of just under £3 per month for a fairly decent number of games across a number of retro consoles. I hope Nintendo continues to expand the library but it's already quite decent. The only thing that bothers me is that there's no option to pay monthly for the expansion pack - you have to pay the full 12 months in advance.

Thinking of getting the nintendo switch this week or next (I won a few £ on my football coupon (soccer for our American buddies) lol I digress Definitely want the expansion pack ,for the old school games like mario allstars n mario kart from the snes n all the extras from different consoles Plus 2 wireless controllers (for me n mrs) I've been playing mario party 4 n 5 Monkey ball 1 n 2 Mario kart on the cube lately (My favourite cube games lol) What switch console can I play at home on my television ? (it's what I want really) & What pack should I get I want Mario party jamboree and mario kart 8 with all the extras I'm wary about having either game pre loaded on the system though, Maybe cos of memory on system Thank you for your patience guys 👍

Super Mario Sunshine is hands down my favorite GameCube game. It gets a lot of flak for a lot of it's harder missions but overall one of the best Mario titles in my humble opinion 😁

I've never had a Nintendo Gamecube, but I have a Nintendo Wii where I can play the Gamecube games we don't have the Gamecube because we had PS2 and Wii in my childhood, I would LOVE to see the Gamecube's coming to Nintendo Switch Online and if I have to choose my FAVOURITE Gamecube game it's gotta be Shadow the Hegehog: It's Fearless year of Shadow I am All of Me, Never turn BACK! I REALLY NEED NSO because it's ended on my Switch and don't wan't to buy more Nintendo eshop cards because i'm getting new games like TMNT Mutants Unleashed and Sonic X Shadow Generations.
