Is now the best time to become a Loan Signing Agent?

First I want to give you kudos for being a content creator all these years as specifically in this arena now with that being said, I’ve been loan Signing Agent since 2018. I’ve had it where the interest rates were really low and then I’ve done it full-time this whole time I think that interest rates do need to come down and then the values of homes also need to come down, but you also have to consider taxes and insurance that are still high. I think we’re pretty saturated in this arena and everybody will jump on the bandwagon if interest rates go down as they should.

Hi, I became a loan signing agent last year with NNA. I didn’t realize that you have to renew each year with them. Is that a necessity in getting loan signings? I’m in NJ and get loan signing requests weekly or bi-weekly and wouldn’t want that to stop. Thx for the in-depth info you always provide.

I was wondering if I should head this route! I prefer RON NSA but although I CAN wait, this is probably the ideal time to study and stay ready so I wont have to get ready! Its hard to predict what will happen but I know it wont stay plateaued like this either

@@TaraMatos loan signings is a great way to bring in additional money but there is an upfront fee. Check out becoming a loan signing agent for your state on the national notary association website so you know how much money it’ll cost to get started.

I think the picture will become a lot clearer after the election next month. Whoever gets in the WH and controls the Congress and Senate will have a lot of influence over the continued trajectory of interest rates. Also, a lot of lenders and states still have a preference for 'wet' signatures; so while RON may increasingly become more widespread, there's probably going to be some toe-dragging for awhile.

@@krich4251 agree on all of the above. I still get notifications for both RON and in person signings and I definitely still get more demand for in person.
