I’m definitely late to this one, but I’m so glad I found this video. As someone who doesn’t love the BOTW and TOTK style of Zelda, and is heartbroken that Nintendo said they were going forward with that style exclusively from now on, I’m thrilled that a game like this exists, the more traditional 3D Zelda clones going forward the better

@@joeb2588 I liked oceanhorn 1 and I love BOTW , my favorite game of all time. This game was too much for this studio to handle. It sucks , the controls are glitched and also the game crashed many times. I have nintendo switch which has no problems with any other games besides this one. Also it is just boring and not fun at all. They missed the mark big time with this one. Maybe worth 5 dollars as a indie title, certainly not worth 30 dollars.

I am a huge Zelda fan, and I also really liked the first Oceanhorn game. It was a really fun game, it and Blossom Tales are by far my favorite 2D Zelda clones in my opinion. So I may end up liking Oceanhorn 2, plus they made it to where it's 35% off if you own Oceanhorn 1 so I wouldn't have to pay full price.

Wouldn’t say it was a Zelda clone because it was more of an rpg. Maybe in animation style but the gameplay wasn’t really. I got it for Christmas when I was like 8 thinking it would be like Zelda but was sadly mistaken. One of the worst rpgs I’ve ever played.

I'm 6 hours in on oceanhorn 2 and I think it is a very good game. I love the fact that it is portable. I was playing the game this morning on the TV in the front room. then my girlfriend wanted to do a exercise class in the front room so I took the Nintendo switch upstairs and played oceanhorn 2 lying down on the bed. Then decided to get my hair cut so took my Nintendo switch with me and played oceanhorn 2 whilst waiting in the queue to get my hair cut ☺️ there's not many games I would continuously play going through out my day.

Im just wondering how you completed it in 13 hours and also why you didn't find more heart containers., did you do any exploration or side quests? I'm at 10 hours in and my heart containers are at 5 1/3 right now, just wondering did you speedrun or just do story only, after 10 hours ive only completed the first emblem.

This is a hot take, and I am well aware that I'll get roasted for saying this. But this game does a better job representing the Zelda experience than Tears of the Kingdom ever will.TOTK feels like a Zelda game in name only. Don't get me wrong TOTK is a good game worthy of game of the year, but as a Zelda game, it falls extremely short, whereas Oceanhorn 2 just felt like what BOTW and TOTK should have been in the first place, I'm sorry. As for both Oceanhorn games, however, I HIGHLY recommend them.

That isn’t a hot take it’s a rational opinion. I think botw deserved goty for the risks it took, even if most of them weren’t my thing. Totk definitely didn’t deserve goty, it’s the exact same game as botw. It didn’t take risks. It added pointless building mechanics and more empty space to botw. Last time I checked adding onto an existing game is called dlc. Not once did I feel like I was playing a new game, let alone a Zelda one. And Nintendo refuses to make a new 2d Zelda entry, so here I am looking for Zelda clones. Did you like Ocean Horn? Looks pretty solid to me.

I just got this and I'm enjoying it. I'm not much of botw and totk as I'm more towards the old school Zelda like games. While game not perfect it is nice to see some people making 3d Zelda like games. Only two other games I have to help with that 3d Zelda itch that I crave is okami and Skylar's sword. Not sure if any other 3d Zelda like gsme son switch but so far these three help with thst

The biggest problem this game had last year in comparison to the original one is that there’s this feeling of the game being unfinished. Not just from the item slot that doesn’t get used, but also in the fact that the last part of the game felt like it was rushed to finish without actually fleshing out much of what it was establishing. And also, the first game had better boss battles too. Honestly feels like at times the majority of the games development was placed entirely on the visuals and less on the stuff that mattered.

It's impossible to 100% this game. Have you? Its a masterpiece of zelda juice. But they gotta fix the quest collect all power shards. It doesn't register when completed. Ever. Ive contacted the developers. Said they would roll out a patch. It never happened. Lets jist hope more games take inspiration from the gameplay and story of oceanhorn 2 (not one) although one was a great game. If you also enjoyed this oh2 game contact the developer on Facebook and Twitter. Let them know about the power shard glitch. Maybe it will be fixed in a few years lol. Healing is the worst. You Can only heal one heart at a time, with a cool down! The game is very disorganized. The boss battles are not good. This guy is very easily pleased

Oceanhorn was awful if compared to Legend of Zelda. I bought it and didn't even finish the first section because the controls felt clunky.
