I really like # 9. It is supposed to be comparable to # 6. The reason I like #9 is it is so much easier to apply on damp hair. Number 6 is thicker and drags on hair as you apply. But # 9 slides right on the hair for easier application. Leaving the hair shinny and smooth. And I can air dry my hair and achieve a very nice result. Thanks for sharing Heidi.

I absolutely love this product it’s actually my favourite now. I actually didn’t even blow dry my hair I just put it in a few rollers and then when I took them out it look like I just freshly blow dried my hair. And I’ve used it now three times and I don’t know what it is but my tangles are like nonexistent anymore. Thanks for this wonderful video Heidi!💋

This is the only thing I've recently added into my after wash routine and my hair has been falling out by the handful. I usually get it thinned out because it's so thick and unmanageable, but my hair is noticeably thinner. I'm not sure what else it could be and I hate it because this product gives amazing slip for flat ironing.

@@heidiguttenberg I use number 9 first, comb through my hair, and then combine 6&7 together and focus that mostly on my ends finally spreading what’s left on the rest of my hair. I blow dry my hair with my dyson Airwrap and I swear my hair has never looked better. I should say that I have and use olaplex 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and the 4 in 1 consistently because of my bleached hair. Love all your reviews.

1st time watching your channel, I appreciate your editing & lack of long drawn out boring steps (like making us watch everything you do, splitting your hair, blow drying, etc). I'm still on the fence with this serum, I have a lot of fine hair (not frizzy) and I'm not sure it's doing much. But I have a niece with coarser frizzier hair (uses a flat iron every day) it might work better for her. 💞 I'm curious if you've tried any Oribe products? Gold Lust & Alchemy are the 2 I've used (& my niece loves). Thanks for sharing 🤍

YAY!!!!!! YOU GOT YOUR OLAPLEX #9! I just bought mine the other day when I did my complete Olaplex set re-fill and I just HAD to come on here first BEFORE even trying it to see if you had it yet and had reviewed it. And you have! Now i can't wait to go and try it. Question....after you let it air dry....did it feel ....crunchy? Like hair gel does when it dries? I know you said it did feel soft. I like to air dry my hair sometimes and I have about the same texture, and same amount of wave that your hair does. But if I use gel, it gets crunchy, and if I brush the gel out a bit to.try and soften it, it gets frizzy looking and I have to rewet it a bit....defeating the purpose. What are your thoughts? I dried my hair straight with my all in one dryer and my hair came out like I just left the salon! Even my husband commented on how nice my hair looked! Thanks Heidi!

I've used it at home and feel it's quite frizzy after, but my hairdresser used it and it was amazing .she put curls in and was smooth for 4 days ! I obviously did something wrong. I've also bought the 4-1 too. Which I like. Didn't like any other home olaplex.

I kept checking to see when you'd review no. 9 and I wasn't disappointed! I can give you a run for your money as far as frizz goes, though. My hair is thin and fine, but like you, it's got a wave to it (that I sometimes embrace) or I blow it straight. However, I am a frizzball even after I blow dry (using either the Dyson, Drybar or my Revlon all in one - no difference with any of them.) I currently have every Olaplex product in my arsenal (except no.9, though that will be rectified soon), but even using these products, I'm still a frizzball. I have literally tried every product on the market, drug store and high end, that promises to help my situation and nothing works! I even tried K18, but it hurts my soul to not use my Olaplex conditioner after shampooing (and even that product, for me, did not live up to the hype.) Sometimes before bed, I'll apply a mix of no. 6 and no. 7 to my dry hair (and I DO love the scent) and it helps keep my dry, frizzy ends softer for sure. But, even using no. 6 and 7 when styling, I still frizz terribly. I'm quite anxious to give no. 9 a try. I see in the comments, someone said they use all three, 6, 7 and 9 and you asked for tips and order of using. I'm going to keep checking back to see if they respond as I'm curious about that, too. (Sorry for my rambling - I talk a lot! LOL!) Anyway, thanks for the great videos and if I ever find the product that actually delivers what it says regarding frizz, I'll let you know!

I would definitely say to always use products in order from light to heavier, so I’d start with 9, then 6 and 7 (I usually mix these before applying anyway)

Full disclosure, I've also been using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid on my damp hair that I learned from TikTok, but...last week I started with No.9, I add some HA, and then I mixed No.6 and No.7 together and applied. Not sure if it was a coincidence or a combination of all products, but, while I was still slightly frizzy, it was not as bad as in the past. Next hair wash I'll try again. As for K18, for me, that product can go in the garbage! Thanks again for keeping it real for us!!!

@@heidiguttenberg First of all I love watching your videos & reviews, ur a doll Heidi 😊. I spend so much on hair products 😖. I was hoping this would work on my hair without blow-drying. I put it on alone after getting out of shower; did not try with a blowout. I have fine & curly hair, but a lot of it & super prone to friz & heat damage. I do Agave smoothing treatments at home like twice a year, to smooth out the friz a bit. Still struggle with finding products that give that slip / bounce & hydration, without the weigh-down.

I’m still a #3 and # 7 only girl. #6 is horrible and even a very small drop is gummy and oily. Do you think #9 is absolutely necessary ? I’m happy with #3 my own shampoo/conditioner and heat protectant ending with #7.

I would need to do a side by side comparisson between the styling products. Clearly, as we get more and more steps, not all will be necessary for everyone. Some may even become redundant and in the end a matter of personal preference.
