While we are inherently spiritual beings, many have been influenced by religious doctrines that divert us from our inner resources. Spirituality teaches that everything we need is within us, whereas religion often confines us by compelling us to seek power externally. I do not endorse any Abrahamic religions, particularly criticizing Islam as the most uncivilized among them.

Olowo Eko was right, Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is a Traditional Yoruba Culture, a way of life in Yoruba land ~ Karo Ojire. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe like every traditional way of life ~ turned religion ~ is an extension of the cultures in which they originate. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe was termed as the traditional religion of the Yoruba people in Nigeria just like Judaism, for instance, is deeply tied to Jewish history, culture, and traditions, acting as a cornerstone of Jewish identity. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe in Yoruba land ~ Karo Ojire ~ reflects the emphasis on hierarchy, respect, and social harmony that is central to Yoruba culture. Embracing Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is about more than just religious practices ~ it’s a holistic way of living that aligns and connects you deeply with Yoruba heritage, philosophy, ethics, and communal values. It’s a profound commitment to honouring one's roots and living in harmony with spiritual, cultural, and natural principles. One can embrace Ìṣẹ̀ṣe without being overtly religious. Ìṣẹ̀ṣe is not solely a religion but also a rich cultural and philosophical framework that encompasses Yoruba traditions, values, and ways of life. Promoting the awareness of Ìṣẹ̀ṣe as a legitimate cultural and spiritual system, even without personal religious affiliation, helps preserve Yoruba heritage. Recognition of Ìṣẹ̀ṣe culturally and spiritually without adopting it as a formal religion allows one to connect deeply with Yoruba heritage while maintaining personal beliefs outside of formal Ìṣẹ̀ṣe religion. Religious practices are extensions of the cultures in which they originate. For instance, wearing the abaya and keffiyeh in the Islamic religion. Many dress styles associated with the Islamic religion are not inherently Islamic but traditional Arab attire. Arabs who are not Muslims also dress this way because it reflects their cultural identity, suits their environment, and aligns with regional dress codes, social norms and expectations.
