Is one camera bag ever enough? - a review of the Peak Design 10L Everyday Sling after 3 month's use

I needed a camera bag for travel and city use with my Nikon Z8 - I ended up with the Peak Design 10L Everyday Sling. So how did it work out for me?

I went with the same basic setup, Z8, 14-30 and 24-120 (instead of the 24-70) on a recent trip to Spain, and Iike you I went with the Peak Design 10L. I don't generally keep the camera in the bag, instead I use a BlackRapid Sling, so that the camera is right at my hand. I have the PeakDesign CF tripod and found I can carry it on the bag, with the included straps, although the bag is slightly too long for it. That's become my basic overseas travel kit, but I also use a Lowepro Stealth Reporter D400 AW (sadly, no long made) when I need something bigger.

Hi Robert, looks like great minds think alike! If I needed a new tripod then the PD CF one is quite attractive for it's transportability. If I'm not in a major city then I do still like my Atlas Athlete as it can be cinched down to 20L from 40L and has a great harness but a little too big for city use often👍

I own 2 Lowepro AW slingshots. They are kind of ugly, and not quite as sleek as the Peak bags, but come in various sizes and are great to work out of, especially for hiking and urban walking.

Hi Jon, I have one of those slingshots from 10+ years ago and I could fit loads in it but as you say the one I have is quite 'boxy' and wasn't as comfortable for me when loaded up but well made👍

Great to know abot Very useful. Was looking for a while for info on comfort fully loaded 11:50 and if can be folded flat to carry in a bag for travel 12:10 as two things I've been considering.

Like many photographers, I've never found the perfect bag. Quality wise my lowepro backpacks and shoulder bags have way outlasted all others I've had...

Bag manufacturers would be out of business if any of us found the one perfect bag! I have a couple of Lowepro bags which are 10+ years old - they certainly stand the test of time as you say👍

I'm looking for a new camera bag, but I want to pack the dji mini 4 pro and rc with it, I'm not sure if this all fits. But very informative video
