Summary for my future self: At safe doses, Anavar (at 20mg/day) gives more lean mass than Ostarine (at 3mg/day): +3kg vs 1.3kg. So it seems like the only benefit of Ostarine is lower suppression, but it loses in everything else. -Pavel

Your content is gold, thank you so much I am in love of your channel and I am watching all your videos. I did a cycle with the two compounds (by the way they are one of the few compounds totally safe for hairloss concerns) I did 8 week cycles for both. 25 mg ED for ostarine and 50 mg ED for anavar. My training and food intake was similar. I am on TRT so testosterone shut down is not a concern. I've chosen 25 and 50 because it was known as the maximal safe dosage and "positive versus negative effects ratio" for a "bodybuilding" usage. I have experienced significantly greater gains with anavar. In my bloodworks, ostarine rised higher my ALAT/ASAT, but anavar did more harm on my cholesterols. LDL actually decreased with Ostarine, that is really interesting.

I'm assuming Ostarine is cheaper and less likely to be fake also? If Anavar is twice as good at the same safety level (great metric) then cost does anyone know ballpark cost differences? If Ostarine is less than half the price then it could still be an option, especially for women.

That is definitely another important factor to take into account! Personally I think women should use ostarine instead of anavar. The price difference where I stay is not much mg per mg, but obviously anavar is used at higher doses.

If you are the typical healthy 17 yr old, your natural Testosterone level is more than enough. My advice is as long as you are making continual strength gains, take nothing. In a couple of years if you hit a wall, then I would look at it. I am middleaged and now dependenton Testosteroneinjectionfor life. Its not always easy to get of the ride.

So usually when expired medication just tends to become less efficacious (only few degrease into harmful chemicals). Also, the expiry date tends to indicate when the medication will expire when kept in harsh conditions. But the decision is yours

Its not optimal as you dont have estrogen from suppression from T. I would try 6-8 weeks

no it doesn't shut me down only slightly lower t which rebounded in 30 days with otc pct. Also test base are never "necessary" either per se, however it makes the experience much more enjoyable since you wont want to kill yourself from low estrogen lol, also you are waaaay more prone to injuries if you have no estrogen. finding motivation to do anything is practically zero with no e2.

@derrickmccorkle4360 testosterone aromatizes into dht and estrogen without testosterone production there is nothing to convert. The E sides from ostarine are from your natural testosterone aromatizing due to ostarine binding onto androgen receptors which in turn tells your body it has an imbalance if sex hormones. And in an attempt to reach homeostasis it aromatizes into estrogen which signals to downregulate testosterone production. Hope that clears it up. An interesting side note Ostarine may bind to androgen receptors in muscle and skeleton however it isnt recognized as testoreone in your body which will lower your sex hormone binding globuline which frees up more testosterone. If its used complementary to natty training its actually a great compound imo *Im not an endocrinologist. Im sure Nicholas can correct me on the small details, but the basic gist is correct. Also, English is not my first language so there might be some grammatical errors.

Not sure if Ostarine is really less supressive, since it slightly raises östrogen. While Anavar alone, doesnt aromatises, which leves you with depleted levels of östrogen, which should signal a quick restart of test production. Even was reading, that you have a kind of rebounding effect with testosteron in anavar after use.

@@NicholasDowney no Theorie itself. Only previously the observation that caffeine helps to potentat the effects of for example paracetamol. Another example from doping would be a) the eca stack or b) Salbutamol. Based on this observation Portugese Bodybuilder started to combine it and anekdotaly reported that it was much more effective. Following this there was a test with one person by a doping lap in Portugal.

@@oinkoink644 Interesting, the only drug I am certain that potentiates the effects of androgens is DNP, and it does it very well. DNP is quite a dangerous drug, however. Caffeine does potentiate the effects of paracetamol but this is via a different pathway in the brain. I am not sure how this will be applicable to Anavar but I am definitely going to do more research.
