I agree that the Lord of the Rings books should be read more than once! There are other authors whose works should be read more than once, too, including Anne McCaffrey, who lived on the island next door to you. Kind of. On a map, every thing looks close to each other. Glad that Yolanda passed and that Sarah saw an otter!

We live in the Sierras of California. About 40 years ago we were cross country skiing with our kids, and as we sat in the snow to have lunch, 2 Otters came slithering down a snowy bank right in front of us playing. We stayed very quiet and they continued to play for about 30 minutes. I will never forget the thrill of that!

Happy Birthday Sarah and Happy Sunday everyone. Glad to see the picture is straight again, thanks for doing that. The Otter pics were amazing and I love otters too except when they went in my pond and ate my goldfish, bit their heads off and left them on the lawn. Your jam looked superb Sarah and made my mouth water. I laways love it when you cook things or make things. My MOT was this week on my 20 year old car and I had to have some welding done and a new shock absober and a new starter motor which conked out at the garage. I must say it has never worked so well since I had the car. Now £360 lighter.

Lovely people! You always put a smile on my face. I think you’ve got your priorities right. My wildlife delight recently was dragonflies in the garden. Then yesterday one came into the house and got trapped behind a shutter. I rescued it using a pint glass. It was amazing seeing it so close up. Bright green and black and 5 or 6 inches long with beautifully veined wings. I am going to do a pond in a pot in the garden to encourage them further.😁

Barter is always a good means to acquire a needed item. Otters are very private and shy. Oh comical too. I have seen them on their backs with a small one (baby) on the tummy area while they glide through the waters. I love watching them.. yet if one sees us humans poof the go.( *sad face*) Wow congrats on passing Landy !! Brilliant test results.

I spotted an Otter ambling across the road going to L'Amable Creek last week (Bancroft On area). We have a Pine Marten family at the cottage, and Fischers at our home (Crowe River). We are blessed with lots of wildlife. Great that you had a fruitful 2nd Otter expedition! Beautiful pics! Good to see the joy on your face! Get stuck in to proofing that chassis the salt ladened atmosphere there munches through steel so quickly. Loved the footage of the otters spent over 10 weeks in Scotland in the last 2 years and never seen an otter or pine marten . Went to France for a week and whilst walking in a forest lane a pine marten hopped onto the track 5m in front of me. I had no idea they also lived there. Heading up at the end of the month for a few weeks maybe I'll get lucky on the way.
