Had the Oura since August - started with gen 3 and upgraded to gen 4. Depends on what you need out of the smart tech (e.g., watch, rings, band) and I love it even with the ongoing subscription

I thought about the ring, but I went with a Garmin Instinct 2X watch because I use it for hiking and gps. And it has a display on it vs having to use an app.

Makes a lot more sense for hiking - but at least the Oura ring would be able to tell you how stressed you were if you got lost 🤣🤣🤣
