To say Rodri doesn’t get forward is comical he scored the second goal in the final game last season against villa to win city the league..He’s scored vital goals at crucial times in games since he’s signed for city and his pass completion in game to game is the best in the premier league since he signed for city whilst doing the DM role on his own and never in a system as a double pivot so to get the numbers he does every game is why no other DM comes close to Rodri atm..Fact !!!

Really weird how people think Bruno will be sold to a bigger club. Newcastle won't be a selling club. They are funded by a rich state, did City sell any of their best players on the way to becoming premier league champions. That's ultimately the aim for Newcastle now with the state funding so they aren't going to sell their best player before they have reached that target.

I love Partey and think he offers the most all round but I have to admit that he’s had a few stinkers this season whereas with Casemiro and Rodri, most of their performances are genuinely solid 9/10s without fail. It’s a difficult one to call as Partey offers us way more all round compared to what the other two offer their clubs, but if we’re looking at out n out dms, then Case and Rodri are both above.

I think Rodri's better in possession and Casemiro is better out of possession, and they have enjoyed the most success playing in teams that suit them. Rodri's enjoyed the most success playing in a team that dominates possession, plays a high line, presses high up the pitch and wins possession higher up the pitch and generally plays at a slower tempo. Casemiro's enjoyed more success playing for a team that plays in a low block, operate in small spaces in midfield to allow large spaces for their forwards to run into and do most of their damage in transition and also defend deep and in transition due to the high turnover in possession. I don't think any manager would be unhappy with having one or the other to start a season with. But in a must win/ cup final game, who would you want in your team to do whatever it takes to get a win? My answer to that question would be Casemiro.

Rodri came from Atletico Madrid who play very differently and it has taken about a month for Casemiro to adapt to an entirely new league with a new club and a new manager. So the proof is in the pudding. As for the team adapting to them or the them adapting to the team, that ultimately depends on the manager, doesn't it.

I think it's Rodri, Casemiro, Partey Casemiro has almost single-handedly transformed Man United. Partey was injured the first 18 months or so and when he had extended runs in the team he was very good but it’s only last season and this one where he’s been even better. I see Rodri and Casemiro though and I think if they were to switch teams, neither would have the influence they have on the current teams. They’re very suited to their respective club’s play styles so it makes the argument even more complicated tbh.
