I’m definitely going through hard times right now.. my dad just passed away on April 10, 2024 and now my older brother just passed away on June 14, 2024.. both the most humble, generous and very kind people!! With your vlogs it’s helping me to keep my poker game going and I’ll be playing the ladies tournament at Vegas and hopefully I can meet and greet and say “hello”.. good luck at the tournaments!! ❤❤Kelly bang

Incredible words of wisdom from Ted Forrest which many people simply fail to understand - your absolute best on any given day is never the same which is why it’s so good seeing Daniel getting a lot more rest and relaxation this time round which I believe will lead to far better results for this years WSOP🤞🤞🖖

Why is it time now to win a bracelet? It’s only been since 2008 that he’s won a Vegas bracelet!
@josh16164 ай бұрын
@@CyouInVegas A lot of variance in poker tournaments. It’s also hard running a multi million dollar company, being the biggest ambassador in the game, relationships and still staying at the very top. He seems more focused now, supportive wife, and playing great the wins will come very soon. I’ll bet on it.
@CyouInVegas4 ай бұрын
@@josh1616 first of all nobody has played more Vegas WSOP bracelet events than him in this timeframe since his last win. This includes the shortest of short fields. During the WSOP he has no worries of running a multi million dollar company. In fact he has perks that the rest of the competition doesn’t. Which includes many assistants and his “break room”. I disagree with his focus. He’s constantly playing events he has zero interest in just playing a “no skill” let’s try and run up a stack by constantly shoving trying to get lucky and build up a stack. I believe he’s doing himself a disservice with this philosophy. I believe he is far better off showing up on time or very close to it and skillfully build a stack in the events that he cares about. I think the WSOP causes him to lose focus on poker and just make it a volume “crap shoot” instead of playing real poker. This strategy also weighs on him mentally busting so often and needing a break to just go buy in late for another event. Just compare and contrast this to the Poker Go events, those he cares about shows up on time and the events don’t overlap anywhere near like this WSOP does and he has far better results in way tougher fields. So I’m not saying he’s not a good player but I think he’s lost sight of poker at the WSOP which is killing his chances to win bracelets. And I believe the numbers back me up. This isn’t a small sample size 16 years. And I’m going to post others that have won many bracelets in the same timeframe in way less events played…. Vegas only bracelets: Deeb 6 bracelets since 2015 Ivey 5 and took a few years off Hennigan 6 nowhere close to the volume Arieh 4 since 2021 low volume in comparison Rast 6 since 2011 plays way more cash games than tournaments Ausmus 4 since 2021 way less years and volume Hastings 6 far less volume Grinder 4 less volume broke a lot of the time Nick Shulman 5 probably 10% of the volume Siever 5 way less volume Hellmuth 5 less volume and supposedly bad! There are plenty more examples. So you can talk about variance all you want but since 2008 is a pretty big sample size and I think it’s a strategic error that has become a huge mental block. He plays a style that way better for a flawed player of the year list or fantasy points that weigh pure volume over quality poker play.
@josh16164 ай бұрын
@@CyouInVegas he only plays the run up a stack style during rebuy period, just like deeb and most other great pros who want the win. He’s taking breaks this year too, so he can recharge and not burnout. I’ll bet with you that he wins a bracelet in the next 2-3 years if you want, seems like a steal for you based on your stats and poker knowledge.
@CyouInVegas4 ай бұрын
@@josh1616 FYI the only player on that list of multiple bracelet winners to play the “brute force” style is Deeb. And the difference between him and DNegs he embraces the grind. DNegs year after year gets more and more frustrated and takes long breaks before reluctantly entering the next event. I know you’re an unwavering “fan boy” but I’m not against him just pointing out the facts that his current modus operandi isn’t conducive to winning bracelets. With the amount of tournaments he enters he should win a bracelet every couple years.

@rushinburrito4 ай бұрын
@@derekw1267 Hellmuth wins for longevity and perseverance. Not for individual quality of play though. Ivey has 11 bracelets to Hellmuth's 17, but he's probably played 1/5 as many events. If those two were crossbooked for the same events over a poker series, Ivey wins the vast majority of the time. That being said, Hellmuths accomplishments are still very impressive, and he's one of the GOATs as well (probably still the WSOP GOAT).

To fix the issue of your dog not going thru the doggie door I would suggest you pull back the flap. Start by pulling a string of yarn and gradually increase the number as your doggie gets comfortable. The reason he's not going thru the flap is because he's scared of it so you just need to build him up to going thru it.

Question about the Ivey 2nd draw. If one has the 7>3 straight that needs breaking, isn't throwing the 7 a better odds situation since anything higher than a 7 is going to be an X-6543 which would beat the same X with a 7? Obviously worked out, but in same scenario, the 2s that could hit to make another str8 were fewer than the 8/9/T that would be superior to the opponent. Don't play 7-2, so no strategy, and certainly not bashing the GOAT, just a math question.
