Raymer is one of the most graceful winners of the tournament. One celebratory yell, then goes straight to the runner-up. And he was that respectful to anyone he busted. Well, except to Matusow lol.

Nah, Snead committed nearly 75% of his stack then tanked for over five minutes getting 5.5-1. Make a decision already. If anybody other than Michelle called the clock, nobody would have cared.

@@Kanders190 Yeah he was taking more than a minute. Even late in a tournament, I'm giving you like 3.. maybe 4 minutes tops, unless we're in the final table or something. In the middle of the hand especially.. not even the end of it.. like, it's just try to make a move within a couple minutes is all. Like Mike had it out for Greg that tournament as at the time, Greg was a newbie and a rookie, and they were paired up a lot together

Nah, clock call was fine, people just hate on it because Michelle was the one that called the clock. I remember reading that he tanked for well over five minutes. After raising 2/3 of his stack on the flop and getting insane odds on a call, that's ridiculous. Make a decision.

Luck only works in the short term, skill in the long term. So you'll always see top players getting busted from tournaments, even when they play flawlessly. But over their career, they'll have the $ to show for it.

I remember back in the day that Hudson hand was seen as the ultimate cooler. 200bbs deep, first hand. Feels like AQ, AJ, QQ and JJ are out there. Also, what’s he getting value from when he 3-bet shoves the turn? Does he think Farha is calling it all off first hand with AK?

9:19 - I don't like Raymer for some reason... he just seems... sneaky and slimy.... but I really liked his play here. He read Mike very nicely. (Perhaps he didn't read him perfectly, but read him very well, and most likely knew he had the worst hand but had a chance at winning).

Now that you mention it the moneymaker winning hand probably #1 because without that we aren't here chatting about it. Another honorable mention for top 5 was the AA vs AA flush in the million dollar one drop.

#48 horrible call by Snead. Jack 7 is a weak calling hand. Opponent could easily have you out kicked. There’s also the straight and flush draws on the board. Possible Trips with pocket 3s or 10s. Even high pocket pair queens and up have Snead crushed. Horrible decision to call 📞

49 should be higher. Raymer's importance on the boom is overshadowed by Moneymaker. Hachem's too. If the pros had just gone back to winning every year the boom would not have reached the peak the way it did.

If they played fast on the flop I’d say cooler. He could have slowed down with q on turn instead of 4 bet jamming. He loses to aces , a10,AQ and qq all in Sammy’s range. I ain’t 4 bet jamming with lowest house
