Phoebe was the only charmed one born in the manor under the influence of the Nexus just like Wyatt, which is why she battled between evil and good constantly as well as wyatt, the influence of the nexus makes them susceptible to power (which is neutral) the nexus isn’t good or evil it’s just power. This is explained in the series. Also Phoebe is pregnant with the source and the seers seed, which is also explained in the “womb raider episode” the child was never hers It was pure evil, when she used the power she became more evil.

This is another scene that showcases why Phoebe is my least favorite character. After they defeat the source in 4x13 her character changes and becomes to me the most annoying character on the show and the trajectory of her character changes. Her attitude regarding Cole becomes annoying like in Season 3, except worst. While there are flaws with Paige's logic regarding Cole (her sudden mistrust in him felt more like a holdover from Prue rather than a legit shift in character and sudden leaps in logic) how Phoebe acts is worse. Not only does she refuse to believe anything or ignore obvious signs, but she also acts dismissive toward Paige any time she suspects or brings up something about Cole. (For me, one of the worst offenders was in Bite Me where she gets mad at Paige for orbing into the penthouse, even though she was trying to help Piper) yet the moment Phoebe suspects something is evil about Cole or straight up says he is evil she instantly shifts to thinking Cole won't change or that he's irredeemably evil, which to me feels like it's okay if Phoebe feels Cole is evil, but if Prue or Paige do its suddenly a problem. Like in this scene she gets mad at Paige for bringing up the vampire guy she met at Cole's apartment, and Phoebe gets mad when Paige brings up the obvious clue, only for her to get a premonition of Cole being the source and she runs off to realize he's evil. It also doesn't help that she gaslights Cole and sabotages him whenever she does this. Like in Exit Strategy (3X20), she breaks the potion that could've stripped his powers out of spite because he was being controlled into killing that witch, and in this case when Cole is about to give up his powers regaining his control from the source's influence Phoebe makes the choice to vanquish the wizard and become queen of the underworld. Thus, dooming Cole to being evil when he was literally moments away from getting rid of it, which could've saved himself and Phoebe.

Lol. Is It that serious ? I mean this just showed what happens in most relationship sometimes people are in denial about stuff. The irony of this episode is that Phoebe knew something was different about Cole the seer literally says It when she summons her in this same episode. The fact that Phoebe who was psychic and intuitive couldn’t tell that her husband was the source of all evil was because she didn’t want to believe he was. Phoebe was the only one born in the Halliwell manor like Wyatt, making her susceptible to both good and evil. She was evil in her past life (hence her reduced power) her battle in these episodes had to do with multiple factors including her own battle with evil and good, her carrying the source of all evil and the seers child (who she believed to be her own and Cole) tapping into the child’s powers made her even open to the idea of being both a charmed one and the queen of all evil. I mean give the character a break lol

The reason Phoebe didn't have a premonition is because the Seer explained the Source's powers within Cole blocked her from having them which is why she has them when she gets pregnant cause the baby is more powerful than The Source, having Charmed blood as well. She still had her intuition. 3 Faces of Phoebe shows that she sensed something but couldn't call it so her ability still presented. There's a scene after Paige tells Phoebe that Cole's a demon that Phoebe storms off mad but when she gets back you can tell she hears Paige because before she opens the door she listens in to catch Cole. Phoebe love complaining about Phoebe, when each sister has chose a man over the sisters at different levels. Its so annoying the hate Phoebe gets for just growing up and learning lessons.

Phoebe literally says she doesn't know what's happening to her. She's literally having mood swings and dealing with the Source within her. This entire time Phoebe knew something was up with Cole even before they got married. But just like Piper, they focused him being good and nothing else because of everything thru went through. Was it smart? No but its human, plus Paige is new and she unfortunately doesnt have the clout yet and barely knows magic or Cole so they trusted what they knew and not the none proof Paige had. But throughtout the more it got krazy Piper and Phoebe got back on board. Hearing someone tell you that your husband is back to being a demon, and not just any demon but the Source, you'd be pissed too. Its not easy to give up on someone you love, especially after so much Phoebe has sacrificed and fought to be with Cole. Not taking everything into account and just blaming Phoebe is like blaming Cole for being possessed. They're both victims.

Phoebe should be thankful that her sisters were not as brutal as their past life counterparts (cousins) where she was eternally cursed to die. Otherwise, she would have been dead by now.

@@COSMICCFREQUENCY144 It is when it's plays a part in a character's character. Phoebe didn't even know Cole was evil. That was the entire premise of the "Paige tries to tell her sisters Cole is evil" thing. Neither of them believe Paige about anything involving Cole and ignore obvious signs that should've triggered their spider sense. Even if Phoebe didn't want to believe it, it doesn't justify her being a hypocrite to both Prue and Paige. There's also a fine line between denial and outright dense. In Prue's case, Phoebe would often throw Prue's distrust in her face, even if Prue tried to be supportive or call her out for going through the same cycle over again. Admittedly I hated Paige for this same reason when she dates Brody in Season 7 because she displays the same toxic energy and becomes a HUGE shrew in the episode where they protect Kyra. It's funny how you say give the character a break, when the MAJOR issue with this and her character is that after all of this Source stuff is resolve all Phoebe and everyone else does is blame all of this on Cole, when he was under influence just like Phoebe. Yet somehow is allowed to be blamed for everything that happened? The baby influence also didn't become a thing until after she became Queen, as Piper, The Seer and Cole, all say it was HER choice. Regardless of if it was choice or not, you can't excuse Phoebe. but not Cole.

That's just wrong blaming Paige she did nothing wrong but look out for Phoebe unlike Piper who didn't want to see the obvious signs that he was still evil she was the only who wasn't being stupid and ignoring obvious signs and Cole was still evil even after the source was vanquished he only tried to be good only to win Phoebe back not because he wanted to and he basically stalks her in the first 12 episodes of Season 5 he was in except S5E6 and he doesn't respect her boundaries and she just wants to be left alone and when she doesn't come back to him that's when he decides to be evil and kill all of them even Phoebe when she said she'll never come back to him in S5E11 and in S5E12 he tries to get her back again in an alternate reality but she still wants nothing to do with him even in a different reality and Paige saved them by stopping Cole herself and Phoebe vanquishes him for good so Cole was still evil with or without his human side he loved Phoebe but evil was just always apart of him and like Phoebe said in S3E13 that he can't ever change that so don't blame Paige because she did nothing wrong.
