PHP is a Pyramid! The money and new clients are flowing up not down. 1.Patrick claims only the top 600 agents are making the money because they are the ones coming to meetings and working, FALSE!! if the other 23,000 agents did not exist as recruits would the 600 be making six or seven figures, absolutely not!! This means only 00.025% are making money, and let’s be clear it’s from their recruits not their own personal production , they even brag about how many tens of thousands they made in month and their personal production is close to nothing. That means that if the rest of the 23,000 agents wanted to make money, they would have to have about 1,000,000 agents to make them money (0.25% of 1,000,000 is 25k, this is according to Patrick during the video and 600 example) 2. PHP agents are making small commissions (30%), the rest goes to your “upline”. You can get a job with any insurance company at 90-100% commission. 3. PHP agents are NOT getting “overrides” they are getting a split of the commissions which is 100% or up to 135% that could be negotiated when you have a huge amount of business coming in. This is very deceiving for inexperienced agents and especially random people with no knowledge. So when they tell you that you are getting an override from your agents that are at 30% , you are at 50% you the the 20% difference, PHP will get the other 50-80% 4. No insurance company charges you $200 to start, they even charge people before they know wether they are able to get a license, they sell you an insurance policy on yourself instead of waiting until you are licensed so that you can make your own commission. No company charges you hundreds of dollars every year to attend their kick off meeting. 5. There are agents or should I say "Financial Advisors" that have absolutely no product knowledge, they only focus on recruiting. I know this because I have been pitched by a friend, she told me "I don't know the products I only focus on recruiting". Also PHP agents are only licensed for life and health products, they DO NOT have a securities license like WFG (who I also don't approve of) 6. They have 3 meetings a week just on motivation and how much money the top 0.01% make and how you can get there in no time, 3 meetings on why you shouldn't quit. 7. You are not a business owner, you DO NOT own your book of business. You are also captive, you CAN NOT work for any other company, no matter how good the opportunity is for you. Most agents can work with multiple companies, sell different products and take advantage of all the opportunities that your insurance license offers. 8. If they have 22K licensed agents, they have probably recruited over 100k, or 200k people, only God knows, that all paid $200. That could be $20,000,000 or $40,000,000 all going to Patrick. This is why he doesn't get rid of that ridiculous fee. The number could be bigger because 80% of people fail the life and health test the first time.

I can say this. I’ve been with PHP since the beginning of the year and I am yet to make anything. BUT THAT IS MY OWN DOING. I have taken my time getting licensed and appointed and I don’t recruit. No one has pressured me to recruit. No one has been up my ass about bringing in more people or anything like that. It’s an opportunity for you to make what you want of it. Since joining, the training and information that I have received is incredibly valuable to me. It’s things that I was never taught by my family or at school. I had no idea about anything. And to me, even if I decide to not go anywhere with the business, the access to the information, is worth the initial 199.

10 months of experience with php here, adding on to the things you left out: there’s a $200 fee, a back office fee, low comp (starts at 30%), forced positivity, mainly recruiting training, a lot of empty motivation speeches and stories from the top people. If you’re not duplicatable/ coachable, people will think you’re weird and shun you in some ways. There’s a lot of psychological tactics for them to keep you hooked: the forced positivity, making you feel as a family, the chants, making you feel bad for not being on time, etc. They emphasize on self development, with the book of the month. 3 conventions per year, which is another $200 (Big Event and TTT). Also, you have to qualify for everything which is annoying; get a certain amount of points, apps and recruits. So like they said in this video, do your research, look up other fmo/imo and compare them so you have some knowledge of each. In the end, they’re all the same. PHP is cool because it gives you the learning curve and experience of what it’s like to run a business but with a lot of unnecessary hype. Hope this helps people looking into php agency

I was really considering joining Php until I researched it and saw all the negative reviews. I'm fresh out of high school, and I am interest in the market/ economy. I read books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Think and Grow Rich. I really like learning about these things and money. I had an interview not to long ago, and it went really well. However, I'm really starting to change my mind after reading most of these reviews, they're all negative for the most part! In the interview it sounded nice that I could work from home, and had my own hours to choose from, and she even said that I could make one big sale a week and be fine to not work until I felt like working again. I asked her how her day to day life looked like, and although she didn't give me a straight answer. She kind of went around it and explained how ones life could look like, not what her life looked like on a day to day basis. Now I'm at a turning point where I am no longer interested, yet I feel bad because I actually had my hopes up that this would be a great opportunity for me. If anyone could explain to me WITHOUT BIASNESS whether or not this is a great company to work for I would really appreciate it. It's hard for me to believe that any of this could be true, and I'm starting to believe that maybe I'm making myself think this business is great when all actuality it isn't. I watch Valuetainment pretty much every day, and the information is very helpful, and all these negative reviews makes me question Patt's entire business. I really looked up to the guy, does this mean his channel isn't worth listening to? I'm seeking financial freedom, and I thought this way a great method to achieve it, through Php. If not then I can simply seek other methods of financial freedom. I just need someone who's been apart of Php to clarify if it's even worth my time. It would be really helpful and beneficial to me, thank you in advance to anyone who responds.

The most successful sales organizations in the world today use this business model. It solves the problem businesses have when hiring sales people, since they incur costs for minimum wage, health insurance, retirement programs, etc. and only get value from that if the sales people actually produce, which they often do not. An individual willing to be paid only for results and assume the costs of marketing to the specific client is worth a lot to any business with a product to sell. Individuals filter a small portion of their commissions upward to incentivize the person who trains and recruits them to do so. Everyone makes everyone else rich. There’s nothing to complain about for those willing to work. That is why major industries such as real estate, insurance, pest control, and security systems have all adopted this business model for their sales forces. The complaints people typically have are simply problems associated with any entrepreneurial endeavor, as these people are 1099 self-employed people. If you have an issue with that, what you need isn’t to cry “scam” in a KZbin comments section to people who are just trying to build their brands, what you need is an hourly job to help you feed your need for security and pay bills until you die.

You do have to be licensed to sell life insurance but the point I’m trying to make in this comment is the “trainers “ don’t provide effective foundational sales fundamentals. These “ trainers’ ” focus is building a large team not really showing people on how to actually sell life insurance.

No chasing people who showed interest, just talk to them once and send over information...that's it. Dwayne Burns bruh ain’t you got some insurance to sell lmao you got a lot of time to reply to people and do debates. i ain’t gotta debate shit cuz i have no interest, but i was wondering what lead my childhood friend to be so fiendishly trying to recruit people. i mean if you make your money selling insurance, and don’t make commission off people like you said in other comments, what’s the need for getting as many people involved as you can? doesn’t make sense from a competitive stand point. why limit the amount of people you can sell insurance to by increasing the amount of people selling it.

@titonothere61794 жыл бұрын
Dwayne Burns that’s cool! In business it’s all about relationships. I didn’t mean to come off like that but it seems like most ppl who are not familiar with the insurance industry or even finances jump on what looks good at the moment without looking at the products and carries they’ll be representing. I’ve seen the WFG platform and they carry all the companies PHP carriers + much more. National life group is on the WFG platform however how often do the agents use NL group? Rarely bc WFG has bigger carries ( house hold names ) like Nationwide, TransAmerica, Prudential and Pacific life on their platform. Im just saying It’s easier to fool then convince ppl! That’s what I learned at my time in the php Bakersfields office when I was there.
@titonothere61794 жыл бұрын
Dwayne Burns Dwayne Burns AIG and John Handcock are one of the few notable companies at php however that doesn’t mean they offer the best life insurance products. AIG often gets used for clients who can’t qualify with the bigger companies due to health reasons & john handcock are known for their pension plans not so much life insurance. Obviously I can’t show you the numbers on here but I can share with you my story. When I joined PHP, I was putting away $1200 a month into the NLG policy lil did I know it wasn’t for cash accumulation, it was attached to a handful of riders THAT I never asked for nor did the agent mention. I had no idea what I was paying for until my quarterly statement came in and I hit up NLG’s hotline and they broke down what I had let’s just say it wasn’t what I asked for and this agent was suppose to be some top leader of the company. If the top leaders are doing biz this way I’m sure the rest of the agents are doing the same.. keep your eyes open there and if things don’t work out check out WFG’s platform. Just my two cents.

@@DBthaprophet I am agreeing with you. I have done my research. I just joined the PHP family on Monday, 9/14/2020, and I see good things happening there. I only meant that a "pyramid scheme" is only a scheme because they do not have a product to sell or offer, and that makes it illegal. PHP has a product to sell and offer "insurance," so that makes it a legal. Now you can agree, the only way you can be successful in this industry is by how many people you can bring under you so that you can move up. Does that not take the shape of a pyramid? You can agree on that, but we have a product to offer in that pyramid and that is insurance, which is legal. I hope to see you at the top somewhere soon.
