pocket camp was my introduction to the animal crossing franchise as I never had any gaming consoles as a kid, i’ve been playing it for 6 years and it was the reason I ended up buying a switch along with acnh! gonna miss all the friends I made in the app, I loved sending presents to people and watering each others flowers 😔 but the new app looks pretty promising so I’m excited to play it too! loved seeing you reexperience pocket camp hehe

I actually started playing this again when they announced that it was ending and my one gripe was how many of the items needed leaf tickets. Reissues of cookies, clothing, and furniture need them and there's not many opportunities to earn them besides paying for them.

Yeah, that's why I stopped playing a long time ago. If you want a nice place or character with limited stuff and do something more than fishing/getting fruits/collecting insects you pretty much have to spend stuff

Kinda but also; NO more microtransactions. And atm it’s $9 until next year January when it will go up in price. But like.. no more having to pay for membership, no more having to pay for leaf tickets.. And people spent HUNDREDS of dollars on the game due to microtransactions. I’m actually excited to buy this game once and never again! Plus they are gonna be giving us more events!!!

I'm from Belgium and ACPC was discontinued here back in 2019 because we got new legislation surrounding monetization in video games. Gacha games were fully banned which i do agree with because it's basically gambling in a shiny package. I feel for the longtime players who put so much time and money into it, but I'm very excited since I'm basically getting a ton of new AC content. I pre-ordered it as soon as i found out about it>

As someone with no nintendo devices ACPC is the only AC I could play. It's a great stress reducing game. I'm sad I wont get friend interactions any more, not genuine ones, but it will be nice that items will be 10X cheaper in ACPCC and things rerun so I can be a hoarder completionist and get all the things, eventually. It's nice to see regular AC players trying or coming back to the game. Glad you enjoyed it. PS, all the evens will get rerun on a 4 year cycle, condensing 7 years of content, with only a few copyright things removed. So the tournaments will be the same. ONly up in the air part is if maybe some get combin4ed or they just happen more often to fit the 7yrs into 4. I'm more curious about the flower/bug events and sharing bugs earned a lot of friendship powder. Maybe they'll tweak it to shipping bugs for powder or something. But part of getting powder was sharing the same bugs back and forth.

I’m excited for ACPC Complete!! Pocket Camp has been such a go to for me for the past few years. I’ll miss the daily friend interactions but overall, how they are handling the EOS and creating an offline version should be the standard for any mobile game that ends in the future.

Yes, so true! I've played many mobile games that went under and had ALL content disappear. Unless you had tons of screenshots, you had no record of your time on the game. What Nintendo is doing by making it a paid game that you can transfer your save data is wonderful. I'll miss the social interactions, sped up time to make items, and a few other things, but all-in-all, this is the best way to keep playing. It's the last day; if you're looking for a friend I'm available to add.

i been playing animal crossing pocket camp on and off for like 4 years now... ive gotten so far, accumulated so much stuff from special events. just to have it ripped away from me and shoved behind a ridiculous paywall. this might be an unpopular opinion but theres no way im paying all that to play a game that i was able to play for free for the past 4 years without problem. i have never bought anything on animal crossing pocket camp, mobile games are a no-go for money spending for me.. so all these years of working on my campsite and creating something beautiful are just gonna go down the drain. i'm not gonna lie, i am devastated.

i jsut started playing pocket camp a few months ago while my switch was being repaired. I love it a lot, its nice to interact with the villagers and have a reward system and also be able to customize so much about my space and my character. i love this game and now im running like mad to time travel and order all the pocket camp related new horizons items before the end date.

i stopped playing it like 2 or 3 years ago and redownload it 4 days ago. Happy helper made you choose your campground villager who followed you. i went ham finding out why i was unable to get my bby back and found out it will be shut down. IM SO SAD. We got a memorial tree that they said gonna save your data so you could transfer it to the new game. i dont know how i feel about it become an unupdated game. I hope we gonna get like a ACPC 2? I NEED MY SEASONAL QUESTS. i left because the end game when you maxed out everything is just running to do fishing tourney and all the other stuff. Having rl friends who you could gush with on the new items is what made it fun, but all of them lost interest. So i cant really imagine how the new game will look like. I guess i should not look at it the same way. the old one is a true free phone game the new gonna be like a single player pc game kinda.

it's been confirmed that seasonal quests will still happen, there will be a few new ones when the game releases then they're going to be re-running events on a 4 year cycle so you can get things that you might have missed. Also the memorial tree is NOT the thing that is going to load your save data, you need to make a nintendo account and link it to your campsite, then buy the new game and you'll be able to link your nintendo account to it and transfer your save data, the tree is probably going to grow or something when you transfer your save, but having the tree is not going to let you transfer your save you need to link a nintendo account for that

I downloaded Pocket Camp on my iPhone the first day it came out and never played it. I didn't know the game play was similar to New Horizon which I have hundreds of hours in. Just saw a few days ago that they were switching to a new app and decided to try it . OMG the game is so good, better than New Horizon on the switch . I'm now level 51 on Pocket Camp and I can't put it down. Made sure I preordered the new Game.

im not sure if anyone has said this but PLEASE review pocket camp complete if you can - it’s SO good. i got it and it improved so much. they have leaf tokens now and everything that costs leaf tokens is SO cheap. not to mention that they give like 800-ish leaf tokens per month i think! fortune cookies cost 25 leaf tokens for a pack of 5 ! everything is amazing now, thank goodness they removed leaf tickets

I've played this game since launch, Pocket Camp has been such a huge part of my daily routine. I was so sad when they announced it would end, so I preordered Pocket Camp Complete without any hesitation whatsoever! I will always wish they brought items from PC to ACNH, perhaps some items from the events or the fortune cookies. It would have been a good way to keep bringing new content to ACNH.

This is my favorite mobile game ever. I've been playing it for years, of course with breaks in between because at some point it did require quite an amount of free time to be able to complete the events. What i love about it is the fact there's something new to do every few hours, with new items to collect every week or so. The possibilities with this game are just endless
