Is Pokemon Releasing Too Many TCG Sets every Year?

as a collector it’s such a double edged sword. Yes, more packs, more cards, but little time to get them all before the next set comes out. I kinda want the once a quarter release schedule. But as a player, I’m all about the high frequency to change the meta.

I definitely get that aspect. Keeping things ready for the competitive scene is important. But I feel like 5 sets a year could, potentially, still hit that.

Pokemon is definitely releasing too fast! We don’t have enough time to try and get a masters set (us on a budget lol). I have definitely said the at a lot lately especially with Shrouded Fable and Stellar Crown releasing so close together too. I didn’t mind you talking about it at all

I swear, 5 sets a year is the sweet spot.

@@chasingthezard I think that’s still too many sets out at one time. It doesn’t give us enough time to try lol but I guess that keeps ppl from getting bored

Also i actually enjoy these type of videos. I just like watching you talk about the tcg while opening packs, also hopefully 2025 theres 5 sets instead of 6

I wish it was 5 sets a year because i dont have enough time to collect some sets. I want to open more twilight and temporal, but shrouded fable is out

Pokemon is doing this sets to fast if you ask me. I don't even have time to film all of the products before new set is out 🤣

Yeah, I get that. My editing takes a bit too, so I rarely have stuff out on or near release.

yeah there's definitely too many sets in a year. Also, there's not enough stock of the popular sets.
