Comprehension 101: People do not misunderstand your post. You misunderstood the meaning of your post. We understand your point when you explain it, but it still holds a different meaning from your post. Your post's meaning: The HSR power creep problem happens because of greed or stupidity. HSR has a power creep problem, even if people are not greedy or stupid. What you think your post means: HSR has power creep, it is only a problem if you allow it to happen by greed or dumdum. At 21:35, and that’s exactly what you should have said in your post. The meaning does change. No one is gaslighting you. You misunderstood, and that’s okay. It's like saying, "Real life has an inflation problem only if you allow it to happen, either by greed or stupidity." About being smart with your pulls: There is an incentive to pull more than 2 DPS: pulling DPS from each element for elemental coverage. You pull 2 sustain units and at least 2 supports, one for each team. I say smart people will consider this. Who knew that most of them got powercrept, including Silver Wolf, who seemed like such a good pull at the time. I don't think being smart can guarantee that you can beat powercreep as an f2p. This is even worst with bad luck.

- Powercreep is a force of nature, you can't beat rain, but you, a smart person, would bring an umbrella/raincoat. - A greedy person, may have everything else but the umbrella/raincoat, and may be unable to get one right now, but they still want to move out asap. - A stupid person, may refuse/miss the umbrella and sprint in the rain, then complain about getting wet. - Gacha players are willing participants of the gacha system, there a degree of responsibility on the player when they're given the freedom to spend resources on a gacha. This is basically what the entire tweet is trying to say, IMO. Sure, the tweet wasn't painting a full picture, but many people are painting on the flip side, a balance of the two POVs is needed.

@@Ruto1M the devs dont control when it rains for you, you do, nobody is forcing you to 0 cycle the end game, you are making the conscious decision to go to the rainy areas without an umbrella, and then complaining about it, which makes you greedy and stupid. Some people also have umbrellas, but their umbrellas wears down a bit, it still protects you from the rain, just not as much as a brand new one, you have plenty options to patch up your umbrellas for almost no cost (rolling for a new support which is easily doable with free gems), but you refuse to, instead you just want to buy every new shiny thing that doesnt help you, which is only happening because you are greedy.

@@Ruto1M Which is why the tweet was not the full picture if we want to discuss general powercreep, its scope was on players dealing with powercreep. The umbrella/raincoat management may not be what you want to do, but it is what you signed up for when you enter a rainy world.

@jkfang this argument I don't agree with. Unless you deliberately decided that rappa is not worth pulling with all the support she's getting. Rappa eats this moc for breakfast and will definitely eat 3.0 moc12 for lunch. Even without fugue rappa is insanely strong. Then you actually have the 3.0 patch with the herta and algae. Which will give you ice and imaginary coverage for the next few patches. And if you pulled fugue, she gives weakness ignore to anyone. your account should be looking good

'How do we know which characters last longer compare to other characters?' I would say we need to test out their potential in as many scenarios as we can. The first question we must ask is If the suppose char is a DPS, what type of support who benefit that char the most(think of a new support char kit that is what Hoyo would most likely create) If the suppose char is a support, what type of DPS would have the best benefit and how versatile is this suppose char. (think of a new DPS char kit that is what Hoyo would most likely create) Supports tend to have high versatility for most teams with Sparkle being the exception because while she could give many crit buff, if your chars can't eat through the skill points, you are only using 65% of her kit. 50% action advance is nice but it can suck for players wanting to 0 cycle. DHIL was one DPS who I knew from the start had weak potential long term. Him eating skill points like sweets results in sticter teams and require a teammate that can give lots of skills point. But they might not be able to AA him so another char like Bronya could but they will probably shred the skill points before the char could replinsh. Yes Sunday was a good addition and can help to alleviate DHIl's problems but it might not be enough in the future. Many people say Feixiao powercreep Acheron but this is just not a fair comparision since Acheron doesn't have a stronger second debuffer or harmony char and an abundance char that can provide a lot of debuff or buff quickly while Feixiao has her FART team. Acheron have a strong potential since her potential is tied to her nihility teammates. I see many people complain about her restriction for require 2 nihility but i think that is a good think since she was as many debuffs planted on the enemies. If we get a char that can also give enemies res down, this will be huge for her. Firefly also has a strong futureproof kit because she is the most versatile char as she can fight anywhere and could do decently well on all endgame content. While BH and Rappa only excel well in one and is 50 50 with other modes. (BH is literally trash in PF). Many people say Lingsha does more dmg than Firefly but both of them complement each other. Firefly helps Lingsha, Lingsha helps Firefly so let's not argue on who is better than who. Im not trying to throw shade to Rappa or BH and i want to say while Firefly is very friendly in all game modes, all the DPS breaks are all good in their own way on the table. We must think about the potential of what a char could do and don't give a damn about dumpsters. Take Lingsha. She literally is the jack of all trades except dot but a master to all if bring the right tools. We can't just say oh we don't know when this char will be good in the meta or fall off. Hoyo wouldn't just leave a char that will give them the most money like enamators so Acheron isn't going anytime soon.

Tldr but I read the part that this will have relevance. Ruan meis kit will last forever unless the core mechanics of the game changes. + dmg, + break eff, + break dmg, + speed to all allies. All of these hits ALL the core mechanics.

As a waifu puller. I had no issues. I had no clearing problem. I barely had any BiS set for DOT and beat it. Only one character with Eidolon and Sig lc. Point stands. People just suck at playing ✋😔

I concur. I've bought 8 battlepasses and probably 200 dollars into the game from launch to date. I could complete MOC etc on auto with 34 to 36 stars. Stop spending because I see no reason to. No Ruanmei or Aventurine because lost 50/50 but no problem.

hsr has a powercreep problem only if you allow it to happen, either by greed or stupidity that means if you are smart and not greedy. power creep doesn't' exist which means HSR doesn't have a powercreep problem sorry but this statement is incorrect. HSR has a powercreep problem whether you are smart with your pulls or not. the meta is always changing, you have to keep up with the meta or you will fall behind
