Just a littel qualti mining note. When you have 3+ balls, Shoot one of them out every time you go down or up so you widen the coridors everywhere. The 1 wide corridors kills you'r chances of sending back resources without following it all the way home. And the orbs will have respawned when you get to you'r destination.

I’m confused as to why you never upgraded your dome health because it gets you a heal without cobalt (unless it does not work that way in this mode). That also would get you more health when resurrection is used.

The cobalt heal is also percentage-based, so it's more effective after the health upgrade.

Agreed. The sooner it's purchased, the more value it gives. Same with shield strength.

​@@Zack_Raynorthey changed the heal so it's far less percentage based (it think it's 10%) but def would have been a good investment when things were looking grim. I think the killing blows just caught him by surprise though.

i think one of the main strats i've seen others do is send materials back as soon and as often as they can to maximise the bonus multiplier! it would utilise all the early water you would find but makes the early game way more risky

My guy, just so you know, the assessor has a bounce mechanic for that ball where you can bounce it off yourself for one directional support.

It's a static ball now not on yourself. They changed that a while back. I think the rebound upgrade is probably the worst though. I think explosive and split are more effective overall.

It's different alright, interesting trade-offs to be made! My only recommendation based solely on this video would be that you're probably going too deep too quickly, which costs you a lot in travel time. But I could be entirely wrong and there might be just nothing left. In any case I feel, like you mentioned, you're always undervaluing speed. There was one video last year where you did go heavy into that and it became clear how big of a difference it made. So that's another thing I would prioritise, but I'm just an observer, not a player.

Fun video. Tiny comment: if you have 3 orbs, and at least one of them isn't doing some work, you are doing it sub-optimal. When I play this mode, I like to always send my "random" orb diagonally. Meaning that if I don't know what I want from an orb, other than just straight up "work", I send it diagonally. I feel it clears out more that way, which in turn makes throwing the packages easier. Ohh, and another thing. If I pick the order of relics found, I sure as heck am going to pick the best one, and if I pick the best one, I'm sure as heck going to rush to upgrade it as well. The first upgrades are cheap and they are always worth their cost.

Another great video, I for one am always happy for more DK videos, that’s actually how I discovered your channel. My advice (from an admitted noob with the assessor) would be to try and widen your pathways early, seems to help a lot with getting the bundles home

Odd the quick shot is perfect to destroy the rocks but you're wasting it. Fire a full charge on someone, then quickly move to target the rock and shoot it down with the quick shot. You can do the same thing to shoot down the small flying enemies.

You can also use that center orb strategy to delay killing the worms. If you get to the dome a little early you can get it setup in like 3-4 shots and that will kill the rocks before they hit the dome.

Maybe I didn't understand something, but why did you never upgrade your health bar? Doesn't that also give current health as well as max, or has that changed?

100% want to see more prestige mode. Perhaps the challenge is to get to top 10 in the world? :P Take everything you are best with, give yourself everything you want, effectively putting yourself on easy mode, but with the intent of hitting at least 20k prestige

After you used the ressurection, there was a moment where you had enough iron to buy the 6 and 14 health upgrades. They seem like really good options considering that you cannot repair (also, maybe even taking them before using the ressurection?). Is there any reason you did not chose them? (maybe rules, dunno)

I want to state I have never played this game, and honestly you're the only person I've ever seen play...that being said it looks very much like that character should be a strip miner and throw everything to the middle to get sucked up by the grav beam
