This was the closest to masterfully telling cosmic horror and the human condition besides bloodborn and alone in the dark. IMO good choice brian

Have you seen the trailer for Black Myth Wukong? It's an action rpg in chinese mythology. Think the game is coming out this August.

I think people have a hard time relating to Chinese games, because they only focus on the strongest, and neglect other plot areas. But I do hope they improve this, or that there will be excemptions. Like when you look at chinese web novels or cultivator stores, they are all... guys that want to be the strongest, its like the only plot. And then they come across as enjoying blood baths too much. Well, what I mean to say is a lot of Chinese games tend to be too similar too each other.

Have you ever heard of the original Prey 2006 it is definitely worth checking out, not related to this one from what i remember but the story in that one was savage. Not sure how it would hold up on todays standards though as its old af

RIP arcane austin this game and its dlc are legendary and bethesda killed the studio by wasting their talent also losing alot of talent hired on after prey that wanted to work there on more immersive sims like dishonored and prey but learned they would be working on a boring forced live service coop game in redfall. such a sad story that the ppl working on redfall begged management to reboot the game as a single player immersive sim but nope they trudged on and then fired all the ppl who worked on the game who are probably very talented
