I'm 100% buying this. My wife isn't into games, but has often mentioned that she played this series growing up (in South Korea) - so I'm curious to try it out.

I have seen some steam reviews saying that in Regeneration some of the beach vacations are "censored" on all versions. And I think I know the CGs in question. They have her in a somewhat sheer white tanktop.

Interested in maybe giving this a try. It's not my normal type of game, and I'm not sure how much I'll like it, but it's nice to see something a little different, and more of a throwback to the way games used to be. My gaming budget is already pretty much maxed out for the month, but maybe next month I'll look into picking this up (on Switch, of course - I don't condone censorship).

Do both the Japanese and Asian releases have english?

As someone who played all the PM from old school DOS to current one and actually have a physical release of all of them I can't really recommend this version if you played other versions, if this is your first time playing it then this is okay but refine is better price while the DOS version if you know how to use dosbox is most likely the best one minus a few ending that are incomplete.

I only have a PlayStation, is there any point in buying this game or is the censorship too severe and will kill interest in the game?

Well, that depends on how important the two missing endings are to you, including one where you marry your own adoptive daughter, Woody Allen style. But aren't all versions of this remake censored in the end? The original old PC game came with (innocuous) nude scenes. I hardly think those are included in the Switch version, or can anyone report otherwise?

Reminds me of tokimeki memorial. I'll probably pick it up, but these days we're spoiled for choice. It's a lot harder to see myself devoting hundreds of hours to a game like this today when we've got more innovative stuff releasing every day, rather than back in the day when this was more the norm for weird management games. This and the Goblin Slayer title are surprise end-of-gen releases that really surprised me.

NVM I got the switch version sense ya got to be a madman to get the PlayStation version because of censorship I hate so Much and the discount codes really helped thanks. Hopefully Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth games to get a physically release for the west or a English multi-language version on switch hopefully they do and if there limited editions will probably buy if English version is available sense I missed out on the psvita ones. 😢
