who said u dont have coop in project management... in Lambton college u have coop with semester break.....directly u willnt get a project management job u have start from entry level then u can become project manager....u can have many option like: project analyst, project manager, team leader, project administrator, junior project manager, project coordinator, project assistant, data analyst, business analyst, IT project manager...u just need to explore the field while studying

Depends on the schedule you choose. Some have 3 days while others 4 or 5

The schedule changes every semester. Check the college website. I didn't have any online classes though !!

Dear sister, I want to admit into a college for PG diploma in project management. Will my social science background (e.g. MA in Political Science from MUN) be an impediment in getting job and having smooth promotion in program management jobs in future?

Umm project management jobs need a lot of relevant experience. There's no harm in trying but i would suggest please take a course that u r actually interested in. Rather than following the crowd and doing what others are telling u to do. Also i would suggest take a degree course not a diploma coz degree holds more value. Also, due to recession the market in canada is really slow so anyways jobs are less in project management. I hope that answers your question.

For project management your background doesn't matter. But beware there are not many jobs in project management.
