Is Puzzle & Dragons Story WORTH IT?

Sadly the original Puzzle & Dragons isn‘t available in Germany. I simply don‘t enjoy portrait matching games. Crazy to me that they at least don‘t offer the option for portrait. Mechanics are really cool.

I heard that from another commenter! I can’t believe they removed it for ya’ll! I totally agree. Portrait is so much better but the gameplay of this makes landscape bearable.

I think it was, but the EU did not like the pay-to-win/gamble system. I’m not 100% sure, but I think they did need to issue a new version without the gambling aspect, and gung-ho just cancelled the game in the EU. I did play it a lot (in The Netherlands), but then they did just shutdown the servers on us.

Aww shame that this an apple exclusive. Still looks addictive. Btw what's the difference from the original which is still on all platforms other than gacha mechanics? Myself, i still log in and play Gems Of War. I don't like The gacha aspects but one can easily ignore that and just enjoy the game. I like the light strategic elements it's not too intensive but addictive.

@@ZamWeazle there is also more PvP and guild focused stuff in the original, outside of just the gacha! Gems of War is made by some of the original Puzzle Quest team! I need to give it a solid try but it always feels so overwhelming with everything that is going on!

@@MintCity It is a bit overwhelming yes. It's got so much suff going on but it's core gameplay is better than many of those other types out there imo.

Hello ! Thanks for this video ! huge fan of P&D on european Iphone and so sad when they close the server due to less and less players ... Have you found the equivalent of the application PAD guide for P&D Story ? Last donjon are strong and to see their upcoming floor is a must have ... or I was so used to play like this :) Happy new year by the way :)

I have not! This game is SO MUCH MORE SIMPLE compared to the previous P&Z so I don’t think a guide is necessary! 👌

The only pro was there's no gacha system For the cons: It's not "a bit grindy" it's toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo grindy, if u found out it's grindy 2 hrs in, u r looking for hell in the long run, I just got my first 6 stars dragon and it took me a whole day, before I realize I had to farm it thru again to awake it....twice, it should be guarantee or melding system or something, those crystal for creating system r very hard to drop for high rating monsters, and for lower ones...it's hard to even encounter, it's random in a fixed pool but it's random if u found it u have to pray for it to drop, also the mechanics wasn't really clear they kind of throwing random stuffs at u if u don't know what they do, they kind of poped in loading screen but it's so short I couldn't read, and u can't check while playing. the ui aren't the best but it become nothing compare to all above. The difficulty level is a mess, bcos u don't know what monster's skills are u don't know how to counter, and the team system sounds interesting at first but when u actually play it it wasn't very player friendly, the build was very limited to one op slot and so u couldn't preset, for variety of stages.

If you’re playing P&D and not expecting a hell of a grind, I don’t know what to tell you! Ha ha. I think it being premium far outweighs any cons!

@@MintCity it's my speculation tho, I came from TOS, it has load tons of content, better ui and the infos r quite clear, less grindy, less rng, if u want garanteed card just play harder mode. It's downside is it relied too heavy on gacha system, team flexibility and balance is lower than this game.

Agree with the drop rate :( We used to have an application that was called PAD Guide where every dungeons was described. It helped a lot ! I’m expecting the same with P&D story but if it don’t work …
