They all suck vs the cost... Really pathetic design. Peak Design supposedly have the best vibration dampening, but they make many other bad design choices and are super woke.

5:08 Get the Quadlock universal mount, use Epoxy to glue the mount to the silicon Otterbox case, use a heatgun to help it mold the Uni-mount and case together, and let it sit for about 24 hours. Now you have a Otterbox-Quadlock case that works with the belt clip. This is what I have done since I swear by Otterbox and the quadlock phone case costed me $200 after my S21 fell face first onto the ground.

With QuadLock, you have to get a new case every time you get another phone. With the Quick Grip, you just adjust the arms, I've had a Quick Grip for a while and never had any issue with any part of it

I also use the quadlock system w/vibration mounts on my bikes. Works great and the phone case has worked well when i have dropped the phone as well.

My favorite motorcycle phone mount….my pocket. Buy once, cry once. Zumo XT crushes it, for me anyway. Have 3 buds I ride with, with quad locks. They are constantly either futzin around with their phone or the mount every time we start a ride. But, they do say they love ‘em.

check Evotech quadlock mount, + quadlock wireless charger (+vibro damper). wireless charger (there is a version for 12v wire) connects to nav power wire (it is ready, hidden somewhere near front light).

Went with Mous for mine. Their cases offer better protection and I like their mounting design better.

Similar experiences with iPhone cases and ended up with quadlock. I've stayed with it through 3 different iPhone generations and I don't plan on switching. I use it on my '22 MTS v4 PP (we have the same bike), along with the vibration dampener and the wireless charger. Started using it on my previous bike (MTS 1260 Enduro) and fell in love with it while on a multi-state roadtrip. Also, I'm a runner and they have a great quadlock arm strap. Also, I use my iPhone for conference calls and quadlock makes an attachment that I can put on my camera mount for my iPhone. Also, I've dropped my phone eleventy billion times and had zero damage to the phone.

Well done for switch @rembo ! + 2 for Evotech quadlock mount plus wireless charger & dampening. I use QL in my car too. Using the old case (not the new magnet one which is a little more chunky in my opinion and for which accessories are a little more expansive. I bought my quadlock wireless charger before the new 12v wire one so had to build my own 12v to usb 5v and plug it into the 2-pin waterproof gps connector hidden under keyless sensor. Phone sit behind the PP windscreen (top side) above the dashboard. Was using same set up on my 2017 MS1200 for the past 5 years, I kept an eye out but never found a match for convenience, quality, user friendly and neat solution. Only downside is with the vibration dampener locking the phone onto the mount gets some getting used too at start (a bit like .like your belt clip 😉) but man it is neat and secure and charge your phone better than the silly manufacturer almost water-sealed-box-usb port 😉

I have also tried the mounts that REMBO demonstrated. The Quadlock is the best one but not waterproof in any way. The much advertised vibration damping mount is a not true add for every phone. Yes that’s right its not a true vibratoin damping system in all cases or most cases and I’ll explain why. First here are my creds that backup my opinion and experience to make this statement. I have been a test engineer and a design engineer for most of my professional carreer. Also as a submarine sailor and engineer for navy systems, i truly understand the engineering and design that goes into vibration and isolastic vibration mounting design and systems for equipment. So here is my observation and conclusion on the isolastic Quad lock design. 1. An isolastic design needs to consider the weight and size of the mounted object to be effective in eliminating vibration. The design also can only be effective in a certain frequency range and may not be effective in the harmonic ranges of the primary frequency ranges experienced. 2. The direction of mounting is also a factor in the effectiveness of the mount. In fact it is a primary factor in being an effective isolating element. THe Quadlock advertising video shows the mount as a horizontally mounted phone! No one mounts there phone like that! 3. Not using the mount as designed can actually increase the vibration or shaking of the phone if the phone is heavier than the design accommodated for and if mounted in a different direction than the design tested for! More harm can be done in some of these situations than if it were solid mounted. 4. So why doesn’t Quad Lock publish its data with its mount? I don’t really know but it would open the design to a true evaluation of its effectiveness. Summary: If you use a Quad Lock and your phone is not shaking in the mount during rides, then it works for you. If your phone is shaking while riding, reposition the mount in a different attitude or just remove the vibration mount and try again to see what condition is best. My experience has shown me that my I Phone 14 Pro Max and I Phone 11 Pro Max shakes badly mounted in the Quad Lock Anti-Vibration Mount in the Vertical or near vertical positions on all three of my street bikes including a Multistrada. The best phone mount for me on all of my bikes is to keep it in my pocket first and not subject the electronic device to an environment it was never designed to be exposed to. Secondly you could do as I also do, by keeping it in your tank bag in a soft padded phone case. Bluetooth it to your headset. You can find phone cases on EBAY for a low price. Besides, your phone wasnt really designed to be “Water Proof”, was it? Mount a Garmin GPS Unit on your bike and interface it with your headset and phone. They were designed to take the vibration you bike can dish out. Quadlock Anti-Vibration mount is Snake oil and fake news in my professional opinion. It uses a concept that can fit “A” specific set of circumstances but most likely not yours.

I had a quad lock with the vibrating damper on my motorbike (GS). I never had such a bad experience, is was shaking like nothing else. Bought a RAM mount that fits around my mobile and is very steady. Pretty disappointed in the product.

Most People have to use something outside of Quadlock, as they don't cover most decent Smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. What's the point in this gadget, when you can't find the phone case you want?

It's definitely better than RAM... I can't even mount a galaxy s23 without it maxing out my volume and blowing my ears, or muting the volume, preventing me from hearing my music or maps.

Hey Brother! I should have watched this thru before I bought this craptastic Chinese-made "Lamicall" phone mount from an Amazon "lightning deal" for $15 that's purported to be for M/C's but is really for bicycles. I mounted it on my '13 H-D Screamin' Chicken Glide for the trip to the NJMP MotoAmerica ride, but I was afraid to risk my $1500 iPhone in case the thing dumped my phone on Rt 55 at speed. It stayed on for the whole trip, but I wouldn't risk my phone on that thing.
