when you shoot hostage it says a lot of minus points but do they really mean something or do it just says you got minuspoints, do it affect the player hurting hostage he got less money or do it afffect team or not affect at all? i have no clue :)

damaging the Hostage results in you Losing your money per damage afflicted.

Dealing damage to a hostage makes you lose your own money per hit. I believe the money lost is based on the damage of the hit, even though hostages don't have HP. Molotovs and incendiary grenades are the most common and easy way to lose money accidentally; you have to be careful with your utility if the hostages are placed in certain spots.
