My only complain is that the cross in his first ascension is missing in his sprite. I care about every single detail when it comes to a character especially for this guy. It just doesn't give off the complete vibe of him being a priest without his cross which is a lackluster

at this rate, I would like an alter ego Kiritsugu with his gun and full suit. His Noble Phantasm : like a Reality marble where he traps the enemy inside a hotel and then him walking away as he presses a C4 Button to demolish the whole building on top of the enemy in a huge explosion. Only thing slightly disappointed in is that he's another arts servant, like if we don't have enough of those already. He feels more like he should be a buster instead. Even better have him be quick so that Kirei & Douman can double buff each other for more big dick dmg. Once again quick gets shafted another year.

There are way more Buster servants than there are Arts ones. And what Shaft for Quick's? They got their strongest support, a buff to their cardtype, the release of 3 AE SSRs back-to-back that can BG/6CE loop and the release of the greatest minturning servant ever in Bazett. Quick has the best year out of everything else.

​@@kun2588 it was good for quick but let be honest, quick looks the weakest among three types just because it has only 2 good supports while other have more. And summer skadi feels like not being completely about quick. It seems like Skadi just lacks one thing: np gain buff, cause the pool of servants that would be able to loop will become three times bigger than it is. And quick will become at least competable. (Yeah, I enjoy using Buzzet but she is not stable when enemies use their buffs during farming)

@Kun it was a good year for quick but it still feels like the weakest still among the 3 card types. Every year they try to buff the card type & every year it still falls short compared to the other 2. Like be honest if the community had a choice between the 3 card type supports, Skadi would be on the short end of that poll.

@@user-st3tw8hw8c Lmao, they're not the weakest at anything. Well, maybe stalling. But they're on par with the other cardtypes in every other regard. For regular 3/3/x farming, there are more Quick AEs that can 6CE triloop now than there are Busters. For Crit farming, Quick is superior to Buster because of a combination of their first card bonus and the fact that SSkadi provides both a starburst and stars over turn. In terms of irregular farming, Quick is still ahead of Buster in terms of units that can 6CE, plugless farm 2/1/x, 3/1/x and anything in between. Few of those units fall short in 1/1/x or 1/2/x but you can easily use either Oberon to cover the loopage for that turn or give starting gauge. Their damage is not an issue anymore; SSkadi provides the largest 3T steroids out of any other 50% card-color support which means Quick setups come out with more damage than both their counterparts. In CQs, BBQQ servants do more damage than Buster servants now due to mighty chain buffs, their massive Buster crit steroid and better steroids form their support in general. The reason why you think Quick is inferior because you're comparing Quick's raw loopage to Arts, something they will never match due to their inherently inferior card modifiers. Stop trying to make Quick Arts 2.0 with all the NP gain nonsense. All 3 cardtypes need their own identity and that's precisely the case atm.

That and who the hell thought of giving him lower NP Gain than Taisui is a good thing ? Really defeats the purpose of a limited SSR if he's an inferior option to the Welfare in terms of general content

Honestly pretty underwhelming. He's basically an inferior arts farming servant (relative to JP standards with Spishtar, Summer Ibuki, Summer Kama, etc, less attack, more class restrictions, less refund) with the infinite guts gimmick that theoretically lets him stack NP damage up...except that's very rarely applicable in farming and for CQ, it's probably memetastic to do the necromancy infinite revival but most times you would rather not risk a necromancy failure? (For the same reason that not many people like to use Hijikata and Anne and Mary) It seems like they gimped his kit because they were afraid he could be too powerful with the 3rd skill and ended up making him a pretty meh servant in practice.

@@fatcat1697 I mean, sure but that doesn't change the fact that Kirei's np does...more Kirei has a 50% battery for himself as well as battery for evil allies, combine that with any servant that can give targeted np charge, or ce with starting charge, and your np is just as assured...and Kirei is a more consistent looper, with more serious damage output and double the damaging status ailments to any enemy that is still alive. I'm not saying Douman isn't viable anymore, he is, but Kirei just does more and better, the amount of battery charge they have is negligible, because both would require compensation that would give you 100% turn 1 anyway, as Douman doesn't get 100% just from himself...so you still have to compensate, and that compensation will also be enough for Kirei as well...and more effective, and that's even if you specifically want that in the first place

Castoria is very strong, even if you don't have an arts dps, just because targeted invuln and special invuln for the entire party is incredibly powerful. If you have the other supports, I guess you could drop her, but I would probably drop Skadi before Castoria. For farming, it doesn't really matter, but she's probably still the best for higher turn CQs

@@TheLolrider I don’t rly use castoria at all. I have an np5 Atalanta and Van Gogh so skadi helps that out a lot. I know cerunnos is comin up so castoria is nice, but I also use godjuna with Chen gong, pen, reines, waver, or e-sports santagaile. Or regular nightingale for debuff immunity. Normally three turns anythin. So I’m not sure if I do need her because of this.

@@Sb142sf I don't think she's necessary by any means, but she is certainly very strong. If you're already able to 3 turn most challenge quests, you're probably fine. She is still probably the strongest defensive supporter in the game, but whether you need that utility or not is dependent on your account. There are enough crazy servants coming out that I think it would be understandable no matter what decision you make.

I dunno but your opinion looks to be in the minority on this one. From the various showcase I've seen and the various commentary, it seems the majority agrees that he's just average, nothing really special, other than his weird guts which is rng so it's not as impressive as it sounds. And by modern standards, he really isn't anything impressive compared to the various powerhouse before him, not to mention the hype surrounding him. Then again this is still an early assessment so just have to wait for the top peeps to fully gauge the usefulness of this guy to either deem him broken, usable or useless.

OG Kiara kinda exists so it's kinda hard for him to compete in AOE alterego class. His third skill looks pretty annoying you have to procure it to get damage buff. Chen gong can do it but he is buster support. It seems like he is very good for arts looping but even in CQs kiara would be preferable over him.

There are better soloers than him (as you said, his guts are very rng so it isn't reliable solo at all) and there are better loopers than him, mostly because he isn't meant to be a looper. Kirei is a mediocre servant which has some usable skills but nothing really unique. His looping relies on way too much support for underwhelming dmg, his NP gen is low so he's gonna struggle with uneven nodes, and his self arts buff on NP only lasts one turn so he can't scale. He's not awful by any means but he isn't even near as strong as ZTL is making him sound, Kirei feels like they held back on his kit on purpose.

He can't 6CE triloop without a plug support. That is subpar for an Arts looper. He's loop conditions are similar to Lancer Ryouma from what I've seen.
