In the fanfic A Poisoned Chalice, the Fourth Grail War is changed. In this timeline, the Three Founding Families never implemented the use of Catalysts in their Summoning System. In this version of the Fuyuki Grail Wars, all Masters are forced to summon their Servants based on compatibility alone. Kiritsugu summons Assassin: Hassan of Serenity, and they swiftly develop a BUNCH of traps based around Serenity’s poison. Tokiomi summons Rider: Saint Martha, who berates him over the incident with Sakura and insists on looking after both of the Tohsaka daughters. Kayneth summons Saber: Chevalier d’Eon, who completely flips the El-Melloi camp’s problem. Instead of Kayneth becoming jealous of Diarmuid stealing Sola-Ui’s affections, it’s ironically SOLA-UI who becomes jealous of all the attention Kayneth gives Saber. Waver summons the Caster: our beloved Da Vinci. She cheerfully takes him on as her new apprentice, repeatedly demonstrating that cleverness and ingenuity can overcome brute force, though the presence of one OP AS F*** Servant puts a crimp in that argument. Ryuunosuke summons Berserker: who happens to be Ibaraki-Douji. He isn’t quite as friendly with her as he is with Bluebeard, but he does enjoy basking in her rampages as an Oni. Kirei won the friggin lottery by summoning the Lancer and most powerful Servant in the Grail War: Enkidu. They stay hidden within the Church until all the other Servants have been identified, then emerge intending to dominate the War, and they seem VERY capable of doing so. Finally Kariya ends up summoning the Archer: Atalanta herself. They get along QUITE well because of their shared determination to protect Sakura, but tragically it’s not quite enough. The Huntress dies being poisoned by Serenity, and wrathfully demands she endeavor to keep Sakura safe in recompense. Her and Kerry’s idea of doing that is dumping Sakura right back on the Tohsaka’s doorstep. Since the story hasn’t been finished yet, time will tell if Tokiomi can actually act like a Dad this time…

I wasn't super interested in the stories of FGO with solomon tbqh. I'd skip each story just trying to keep up with events and backlogs of main quests. But when I saw Japan hyping up Cosmos in the Lostbelt so much it piqued my curiosity. A friend explained it best he could and scoping out the wiki myself had me interested in it. I legitimately tried to read this chapter and I'm so glad I did. This chapter had me in suspense and crying in the end. I got recommended one of your videos and after learning all about FGO now. I was super excited for you making this particular video so I can show my friends my favorite chapter now.

Everything in LB 1 was fantastic. Patxi really made me think of our way of life and to be happy with it. He was angry and sad, knowing how beautiful another world would have existed. Then there's Ivan and he's right. What makes us think that our world should thrive and not his? Sure, their world is in devastation but they are trying to adapt and survive and make changes. They are trying and here we are, destroying their efforts. So it depends a lot of perspective of where you're going at in LB1.

I'm actually suprise she got summon as a caster Rather then an avenger given her history ,but this anastasia is a mix of both ivan wife and the princess which make sense given ivan wife hair is actually white because she bath her hair using mercury , and the last well know of princess anastasia is a picture of her holding a teddy bear, that's why this V doll is a representative of that.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I like the guy. He has a lot of potential, and so far, his relationship with his servant is the best out of all the crypters. Keep up the good work. My thoughts are repeatedly drawn back to THAT moment. That single choice. I don’t know how Fujimaru Ritsuka pushes on all the time. I guess they are stronger than I am. If I were put into that position, no matter what choice I made, I would be riddled with guilt for the rest of my life. Always haunted by a pile of bodies stacked as high as a mountain, but left unknown to most of mankind because we’re not killing them. We’re erasing them. Denying them even the right to exist, and even an afterlife to flee to. We deny them everything. I could not bear that weight endlessly.

Lb 1 was such a great beggining to the story. Honestly it went further than most of the lb stories in how different the world is especially with wolf people running around. Kadoc is honestly the best of the 3 current crypters in Ophelia and honako. He managed to get allies by talking to them and convincing them was actually quite a shock as to the others looking more smart but being less clever than him. Anastasia very pretty princess she was quite scary but cute as well as she wanted to act like a princess. Overall second favorite lostbelt story and Favorite crypter. Lb 2 is the bottom of the list for me same as Ophelia while yu paisen is my favorite design but she didn't do as much in story. Ivan boring king. QSH best

LB1 > LB2 > LB3 This story was so good and at times I really thought that our journey might be over because of the decisions like take that route or choosing a different dialogue. I know our choices doesn't matter in this game but how kadoc was playing his hand and going as far as to recruit our allies and turning them against us ...? I was totally taken aback. And the moment ptaxi showed us his courage and sacrificed himself for our sake ..! Frankly throughout the story I wanted him to die for being a total shitass but the moment he redeemed himself moved me to tears... The 2 lostbelts after that paled in comparison in terms of raw emotion and a compelling story. Crypters no doubt were more challenging but I felt no satisfaction or connection to them or their stories...just generic hard boss battle. ( On a side note though Skadi was so adorable ❤️ ) I will not comment on LB4 though when it comes out later on. Being an indian lostbelt, it's a given that it'd be my favourite. But I just hope that they make a compelling story and good characters with whom I can relate.

Recently finished this Lostbelt myself and was certainly left with feelings I didn't expect toward the end. It's one thing when we were fixing a timeline in danger of destruction by a bunch of demon trees whose outlook on life I vehemently disagree with and will fight tooth and nail against, but what about when victory also means ending the existence of countless innocent lives who did nothing wrong? Ever since Goetia taunted me all the way back in London I knew where I stood, but for the first time in years I was tripped up and as unsure as Ritsuka and Mash on what I would do. Good thing Patxi was there to snap us out of it and make me remember the bigger picture. These alternate timelines were not selected to be humanity's true path for a reason, and letting any one of them take root would be an even greater tragedy. The Foreign God responsible for this situation needs to be stopped, as well as the mages willing to go along with it. Kadoc choosing to hold the Yaga's lives over our head as hostage is a pretty disgusting move in its own right, so any idea that the Crypters are the heroes here is starting from a negative point to say the least. There is more than reason enough to fight back against all of this, not only to save our own timeline, but to also ensure that, someday, no other world has to be caught in the crossfire like this.

In the previous video, the Lostbelt prologue, I'm sure I mentioned how I got mixed feelings about us destroying the Lostbelts. And those feelings really came to light for me, when Ivan confronted us with the knowledge of the consequences. The primary emotions, I'm suffering from are Guilt and Sadness. Sadness towards the innocent natives of the Lostbelts that are suffering, even if they are unaware; and that is compounded with guilt that we of Chaldea are in a way dragging those willing to help us into our war with the Alien God and the Crypters, before ending their existence by destroying the Lostbelts we go to. Something of a contrast, started especially because of "Sour-grapes" Kadoc taking a shot at us because of said innocent natives, gives me a kind of rationalized, pseudo-righteous indignation. The anger that Kadoc would slap us with the weight that deaths of the innocent natives would have; the rationalized part is that, if the Crypters and the Alien god hadn't brought about the Lostbelts, then those innocents would have been spared in a somewhat twisted sense. The compounding righteous is aimed at the Crypters undoing all our hard work, the very thing they were prevented from doing in the first place. And while I did say I have mixed feelings, there's no love lost for the Russian Lostbelt; mainly due to Kadoc, his sour grapes, and what happened to Paxti, who in my opinion, was the most human amongst the Yaga and the most decent one aside from the rebels. Russia was bitter-sweet (pretty sure most of the Lostbelts are going to be that way), but our "victory" over Kadoc made it a little more sweet than bitter. I can't say the same for Lostbelts 2 and 3; in fact Lostbelt 2 actually hit me pretty hard on two different points.

If you don't this harsh cold of this Lostbelt will have you harden your resolve or be frozen in your tracks, as a King who rejected his calling slumbers and those wish him removed plot. I still don't get the moral conflict around destroying the lostbelts. It's basically just a big Trolley Problem, it's literally choosing between our entire world and these smaller, foreign worlds. If we could potentially restore true human history, and choose not to, are we not just as responsible for ending that timeline as we are by choosing to eliminate the lostbelts? Also, I feel there is a major difference between a timeline being pruned and dying. If a timeline is pruned, there are no consequences. There can't be, by definition, because there can be no causal link between separate timelines (otherwise the two would have merged into a new timeline). Death is different than nonexistence, and I see no reason to mourn something that doesn't exist. Finally, the lostbelts were pruned precisely because they have no potential future. They can't be salvaged, because they're already too far gone. Even with the interference of the Alien God, only one of the lostbelts could possibly survive, so it's not like saving the Yaga was even a remote possibility, anyway. Sure, Chaldea doesn't *know* that at the time, but it's still relevant for our moral calculous..

Pretty happy with the fact that they gave more characterization to the least utilized American Singularity Servants. Back in America, I was really disappointed with how Billy and Beowolf were handled. Especially since Billy was at his own turf. Im pretty glad the Berserk King and the Rascal King were given another chance to shine and absolutely kill the times they do.
