Is Red Dead Online Worth Playing in 2024?

Honestly the best time to play RDO was in it’s prime 4-5 years ago.

SO much potential for a cool MP experience. They could have integrated some features from GTA like heists or multi-faceted things you need to do to say rob a bank, a person, a gang. With varying degrees of difficulty. Maybe "lawmen" type missions, similar to heists but from the "laws" point of view. Complex missions you do with your posse to bring down gangs. Plenty of set pieces to mess with. If you do what GTA does and when doing these "heists" it takes you to a private server so you can't be killed by PVP. That would help. It could never have the options like GTA had but it could have been an awesome MP experience if they put the time into it.

Red Dead 1 Online was fucking amazing. One of the best multiplayer experiences I had. I cannot, for the life of me, believe how hard they dropped the ball on RDR 2 online. I'm mindblown they didn't even have a zombie DLC. The entire thing felt like a slap in the face.
