Yes! You should absolutely buy RDR 2 no matter what year it is. I have been playing it for about two years now and am 97% through. I have finished the story but still have stuff to find south of Blackwater. I was in no rush to complete this game and have had breaks over the last two years. I wanted it to last as long as possible as it will be years before RDR 3 comes out. I have tried to do everything there is to do and find all the collectables which I am proud to say I have nearly achieved without the use of any guides or googling. I have put around 2000 hours in to the game so far and from the start I have been using the in-game camera to capture glorious images of the world and many action scenes along with all the missions. I have nearly 9,000 images so far and plan to put them in a video when I complete the game with music from the RDR 2 album playing throughout the video. My current guess if I display each image for 4 seconds with a fade in and out means the end video will be around 16 hours long which I will have to split in two videos due to KZbins upload limit of 12 hours. I am guessing nobody has made a video like this of RDR 2 so it will be my tribute to what is in my opinion the greatest video game ever made. I hope to finish the game and have the two videos made and uploaded sometime in 2025 so keep an eye on my channel if that's something you'd enjoy watching. 🤠

very open world, very limited choices, if any. "sure, Mary. Not even a lunch, not even a coffee, but I will find the missing person. FOR A PRICE (money, unique weapon from granpa, etc)" would have been my choice. As in 99% of all cases, my choice was not an option in the game. the game is still fun, though. Worth its price. Plus: Arthur looks like captain Kirk in the new trilogy. A bit old, a bit alcoholic, because Star Fleet Academy is hard.

Same thing happened to me when I purchased the game from the Ps store on 3rd March 2023 and after one year the game was removed from my library without any reason 😢

Hot Take: While I like this game and do agree it is really good, it has a mad style over substance problem. Like yes it looks beautiful and has some of the most immersive mechanics that you’ll ever see in a game. But those mechanics also come at the cost of gameplay flow and 40 hours in you’ll either be trying to skip them or avoiding them all together. Plus the combat ain’t really all that. It feels fun, but it’s mostly just press left trigger and shoot. You don’t even need to aim with how generous the lock on is. This games main strong suits though are it’s story and graphics. But as someone who believes gameplay is king, it’s shortcomings are hard to ignore despite how I enjoyed this game.

When it comes to combat the settings can be adjusted all the way down to free aim and don't use the dead eye, instantly far more difficult, and fun I may add. It all depends on what you want, easy or hard. From my first go through I used dead eye in chapter 2 and never used it again. It is dramatic but my feeling is if you're going to mark a target you might as well shoot it. I didn't get the right feel when I pulled the trigger and the gun did the work, but that's me.

Great Vid! No spoilers, super job, and difficult to do. However, [SPOILER ALERT] This game is highly addictive. I got this game last January and it's the only game I've played since then. If you like to run and gun then you probably won't like this game. If you want a completely unique experience in gaming then it is way worth your bucks to give it a go.

I want to play it but I don’t like the fact that the story mode and online are 2 separate games that you have to pay for separately. Unlike GTA5 the online is a part of the main game I don’t know why they separate it.
