Wow for that 16k they are giving victus protection, 12bit 120hz oled with dolby vision, 67wt charging, ip54 rating, see the screen its amazing, 200mp main canera is pretty good.. If they could fix that selfie camera with an update or in global and india version.. It wil be a steal at that price point.. I will poco too rebrands this.. So that we can get 1k cheaper. ..!!!

Don't need to mate... brands adopt changes for 3 reasons... 1. People want it - Better cameras, larger phones etc.. 2. It saves/makes them money - removing the headphone jack, micro sd etc.. 3. It's innovative and a risk they are taking to look advanced - under-display cameras, the first gen foldables etc... Given how unanimously brands have been moving to in-display sensors, it's reason 2... the majority prefers it to side mounted scanners

to me, its more convenient and more accurate.. I have very dry skin and side mounted scanners detect my finger with lesser accuracy... one of the things I dont like about my time with xperias

@@C4ETech I've actually heard bad things about Sony's readers as well recently...but it's just them. Weird. My xiaomi is fantastic. In my anecdotal experience, the pixel line was better when it had the rear mounted reader as well. Then I tried the pixel 6...absolute NIGHTMARE (it had MANY other problems). Then I got a 10t. It was good but not as accurate as my older phones with the capacitive reader. Then I got the 7a, because apparently I'm some sort of masochist. Nightmare, nightmare, nightmare. I too have extremely dry skin so I understand your struggle. The dry skin makes the optical reader on the pixel hate me.
