I think you brought up a great point when you spoke about how iPhones seem to be catering to the industry professionals with this launch. I am consistently disheartened by Apple's lack of willingness to listen to their customers for what we ACTUALLY want. Even as someone who has to shoot photos and videos daily for work, I still don't actually have any major use or care for these upgrades. SO much of Apple's upgrades are camera focused. While we all want good cameras, most people spend very little time taking photos day-to-day. Many of us are still asking for more customization, alternatives to slab phones, 120hz screens, etc. Many of us are switching to Galaxy for this reason. It seems Apple has their head so far up their own *ykw* that they either don't hear what we are actually asking for or simply don't care.

Siri's name should be changed to Karen. It's so inconsistent. I literally ask it the same thing twice and once I get a proper response and the other time it shows me what it "found on the web". Lazy Karen! I programmed it to just use Perplexity AI when I call it out. It can also be done with Google Assistant. This can be done with any older iphone as long as it can run the shortcut app. it works much better.

I currently have an XS. I see no need to upgrade even now. Yeah, cool advancments in camera, but in reality, I take pictures of my dog, daughter and family, and don't really need all the features (I used to shoot videos of my daughter's gymnastics, but she quit so I don't need a better camera). Frankly, unless you need top of the line cameras, not sure why you upgrade. So, to answer your question, I have had my phone for 6 years, it works just as it ever did, no complaints. can an Android phone from 2018 say the same thing? Not sure, so that is the question you have to find the answer for.

Isn't this something that they already do? Once you open the camera app and focus on something they already take multiple pictures with different exposures, so when you do finally press the shutter button the photo is already processed and accurately rendered.
