Yeah I think Jake's two best options were the play he did or what you're saying (Counter Catcher no energy Ogerpon then KO Drago with energy). Latter requires 2 energy on my end, 1 grass to Teal Dance to the other Oger and 1 other energy to retreat Active. However that keeps Mew ex in play so I see more cards, with the hand I got Iono' into I already had the 1 energy and would've been able to draw 3 so it's probably really similar odds. Which one is more correct just depends on what's in deck. - Etchy

I think the grass attachment at 29:34 is a misplay, yeah? Because you still have more grass energies in hand/deck, so if you get Iono’d it would be easier for you to find grass energy as opposed to the fire.

at 24:45 is it not always better to go for phantom dive over cologne kyurem? Prime Kirlia, ko manaphy and you're down to 2 prizes. That way you're forcing manaphy to come back down or you win, and if it does return you're still winning with boss.

How do you test by yourself against yourself??

Just setting up 2 decks and playing both sides. I set it up PTCGL style where the other side is facing me so I don't have to move to the other side of the table. You can also use 2 windows of something like limitlesstcg.com/tools/tabletop

@@DeadDrawGaming.you play both sides of two decks and run a gauntlet. Testing yourself is ok but not optimal, as you may not see key plays the other person is seeing. For example I learn more from going to locals and testing before the tournament with friends than I do testing 6-8decks at home against myself. Luckily it’s easier to test alone with Pokemon TCG as you can’t respond via instant speed like mtg or other games.
