I was working with few Philippino ladies and I was astonished of the strength and stamina they had, they were half my size in stature and weight but stronger than me! Their skin and muscles look toned. So talking with them and EATING! I learned rice is a staple for them which is eaten in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then I started eating rice just like them and I started to notice my skin and muscles started to feel toned and stronger and I had so much energy! Also they eat fish a lot! ... I LOVE rice!!

@renmuffett6 ай бұрын
One must soak rice several hours or over night, before cooking. Then rinse well because even organic brown rice naturally contains way too much arsenic to be considered healthy. Wild rice even more than any other has the most arsenic. Many spices have the same problem depending on where it's grown. Rice thrives in very wet low land environments where the most toxin's accumulate. The good news is, clinical lab tests confirmed that soaking it 1st will remove much of the poison's to a much safer level.

Look up "starch solution" by dr. McDougall. My A1C came down eating that way. Cut out as much oil and butter as you can. Dont add sugar or oil to your starches. Carbs dont cause diabetes its adding oil and sugar to it that does it. There are several ladies on youtube that are on the starch solution. They have recipes that are easy. They share how they reversed their health issues. Fiber and water heals. My husband and I brought our cholesterol down. We eat the vegan way at home. We only eat little dairy and meat when we go out to eat for date night.

Because I live in an Asian household (Filipino to be specific) Jasmine rice is our go-to. In fact, I would say rice is crucial to our everyday life. Whatever you do though, please do not drain your rice through a colander. Otherwise an Asian man in a bright orange shirt with one leg on chair is gonna be upset. Besides that one joke, I believe God gave us joints on our fingers. And that is so we can measure water-to-rice ratio properly. That's actually a joke I made up myself.
