I'm still waiting on that tenner for that intro.... although doing it at gunpoint seemed unnecessary

Hooray for Hayley’s comments ‘if you can queue for 40 mins then do you need the pass?’ My son could never manage this. I’m concerned that the charge for the nimbus card is a money making scheme by Merlin, and I personally feel there needs be stringency on the criteria for these passes as it alienates those that genuinely struggle in these queues.

Hayley here :) if you apply through Merlin for nimbus you are given the option to get the paid nimbus or just RAP, if you choose just RAP you won’t be charged and therefor will not receive a nimbus card, the fee for nimbus goes to nimbus (£15 for 3 years). I’m hoping in time we will see a difference with them now using nimbus to verify applications.

Ahhh I just realised I misunderstood this- thank you for clarifying. There definately needs to be more strict rules in motion as I have so often seen a ridiculously long RAP queue (chessington the worst culprit) and question why it it needed when people can happily queue for such a length of time. Its really not fair on the people that genuinely need it
@AdventureTimesUK8 ай бұрын
@@Nat_C that’s ok :) with nimbus you have to give more to prove disability (can only speak on my experience) Since the pre-booking off RAP has come into play we have noticed the RAP queues are much shorter which is great! We will be doing videos soon on this we just wanted to give it a couple of weeks to bed in before we give a review or updated guides.

I can’t agree more access queues for Rita the other day were ridiculously long - it was quicker to queue for front seat that to merge with the other queues

Something needs to be done, if rap queues are 40+ mins that should tell the parks something. We done 1 ride on this day as Hayley struggles with more than 15-20 mins.
@EddieDoesBrass Жыл бұрын
Totally understand that and frankly it’s unfair on those who really are unable to queue such as that

@@EddieDoesBrass absolutely hopefully something will change soon!!

Another point is you spend 30 minutes in the rap queue to then have to wait however long after so often your queue time is doubled for lots of popular rides

Maybe with these new changes some of the issues with ride access may improve over time

Makes me a bit nervous seeing the long queues for RAP. I can just about make 30 minutes...on a good day. Hopefully the RAP reserve system helps. We did Legoland a few weeks ago and it was honestly a relief to sit somewhere quiet between rides. (I try and book on quieter days as well because I'm not great with crowds in general, but there's only so much I can do with working full time.)

Hiya :) thankfully merlin have made changes to the RAP system and it seems to be working a lot better now :) we will be doing updated RAP videos in the next few weeks :) but if you have any questions please feel free to ask! :)

It’s an issue with all Merlin theme parks currently! I totally agree Merlin are not helping themselves either with over selling products
