Is Roxanne worthy of leading a commander deck?

I disagree with the power level rating especially with the support from mh3 and bloomburrow. You have to lean into the ramp more with her. My build has like 18 accelerants to get her out on turn 3 consistently. And that’s without jeweled lotus mana vault and mana crypt in the deck.

I get the feeling you think she should be rated higher than 7, is that right? After playing many more games with her and having a better understanding of what can happen, I do think she can go higher than that. Without breaking into cedh, she is at the upper end of our playgroup as far as power goes and she opens up quite a bit of infinite loops to explore. Thank you for the comment!

It is! That price quote is from Card Kingdom. A quote from TCGPlayer is $860. Taking out 4 cards (Taiga, Dockside, Ancient Copper and Doubling) gets the cost down below $600/400. I do mention Roxanne being a budget friendly commander and if there is interest, I can sculpt a decklist that stays within a desired budget. Thank you for the comment!

The deck has a Taiga in it which is like 1/3 the price.

It is easy to make a fun enrage dino creature base that amplifies the removal with Apex Altisaur and some others, if you've got the dime to drop on a Polyraptor or Etali Primal they're good mana outlets for the value they bring.

This is a cool idea! The dino angle was something I thought about but didn't get to explore. Adding Silverclad Ferocidons seems like an obvious inclusion. The cat queen of the dinosaurs. That is an awesome concept to build around! Thanks for the comment!
