I've been playing Pudding non-stop on the sim and I honestly believe her matchup into Law is not nearly as bad as people might think it would be. In fact, I'd almost argue it's favored for Pudding, or at the very least 50/50. A lot of it depends on if you see your Hakai Sovereignty. I know not all Pudding lists run it, but I believe it's an absolute must and helps SO much in that kind of matchup. And if you go first and are able to ramp to 10 by turn 4, as long as you didn't brick and could counter out of the first couple swings, it's generally pretty safe to play 10c Kaido&Linlin. It's something I've been able to get down in at least half a dozen RP Law matches now. And they never have the ability to remove that. You play a 10c Big Mom next turn and then swing with Kaido&Linlin and that's almost always game right there. Of course, if you don't see your Hakai Sovereignty or you do brick pretty hard, or if the Law player high rolls, then yeah, it can feel like an impossible match. Generally though, I find that matchup surprisingly easier than some other ones. I really don't believe you're playing a good deck list with her if you truly don't see her as a meta contender. I mean, I run 14 2ks and 4 of the 0c event and almost never brick. I only run 10 "boss" characters, but that's always been enough to see 3-5 of them and run over any other opponent. The Enel matchup is basically an instant win. She destroys control decks. But I do feel like the few lists I've seen from the East so far were not very good... As a Katakuri main, I cannot wait for Pudding. She's not only fun as hell, but she's SO much stronger than Katakuri...

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that Pudding might be stronger than ppl are giving her credit for, but you listed yourself why she's fairly inconsistent and how she can lose to not just Law, but other decks by missing ramp or drawing bricks. Also, the sim isn't really the best way to show a leader's true potential. Real world testing in the actual meta will show if a leader is actually good or not. I know that's all you can use right now and it's good for testing decks out, but I think given that OP8 has been out for a while now, we can see Pudding just isn't that great into this current meta. Maybe in a slower meta she'd have a lot better chance, though.

I don't think you need to ban law, just Black Maria, its insane that they thought that card could make it through without being leader locked

honeslty 7c Jack will also be a problem haha But we'd probably see a weird top meta of Lucci and BY Luffy with yellow hovering just below them

8c Gecko Moria is NOT that bad lol. I mean, it's over tuned for sure, but it's NOT comparable to Law. It's not even as bad as 10c Big Mom and she's still in the game without causing issues.

I like my odds as an Enel main. But I definitely understand why you made the tier list the way it is. We have learned enough from the tier 0 metas thus far to know what really matters in the end. I don't like formats with only one deck dominating but we'll see what happens in the west.

If I could have made this list a few days later I would have put Enel up at tier 1.5 like I was thinking about doing XD But yes, it's still a tier 0 meta atm, but I always look forward to how things go differently in the West!

honestly, it's mostly Lucci at this point which is kinda sad haha. but yeah it would look so much different if just a few things were tweaked and Law was gone.

I think this is a great way to look at the meta! how to beat rp law lol. would love to hear your thoughts on carrot / ur list! I think she's such a cool leader, and the mink cards are really fun.

Right now it's the only way I can think of making a tier list haha. I will be making a video on Carrot as soon as I can! She's so much fun and she's strong into basically anything besides black and some blue removal

Carrot is very good against Law! But unfortunately she struggles into black and blue, and even Enel a bit T_T She’s good against BY Luffy too though, but he’s not seeing much play atm

Honestly Law shouldn't get banned because Law relies on too many cards for it to function. Without Reiju, Kid blocker and a ramp, the deck struggles, so you need to see these pieces in order to do good with the deck, so it isn't consistant like how Saka was. I don't think the leader needs to be banned, I just think certain cards need to be hit with a restriction like Black Maria or errata, but the leader shouldn't suffer for one card making the deck "broken".

it's not as technically consistent but I think overall, it's more powerful than Saka. I'm all for them restricting or banning the use of other cards in Law decks before they ban the leader, though.
